Iron Man 3 is in the cinemas 25th April here, not May. And if there is going to be a poly bag I think it will be released in October like Hulk .

Last year, the Avengers was release in April in the UK, too. Additionally, the Hulk promobag was released in May, not October.

The Visually Dictionary is just speculation at this point. Also I doubt we will get a Big Marvel Exculsive until next year, and my guess would be a X- mansion. Simply because its a niche product that would sell well in LEGO stores but maybe not in other stores. Where as a Large Iron man or Avengers set would sell well everywhere, so I doubt that LEGO would create an Exculsive on them as it would limit there sales.

I too think the a large Marvel exclusive set wouldn't come out until 2014, but I doubt we'll see any X-Men sets soming out since X-Men aren't very popular at the moment. As for Iron Man though, he is really popular at the moment, so I think we can expect to either see a Iron Man 3 or Avengers Lego Marvel Exclusive set next year similar to Arkham Asylum which is part of Batman which is pretty popular at the moment as well. As for the May exclusive minifig, I think it may be based off of Man of Steel actually since those sets are probally going to start coming out around that time. So maybe we'll see a Clark Kent minifig or something like that.

Actually it was in May too, that's when I got mine as it was £25 or more at LEGO. Maybe they had extra ones left over that they sent out in October.

LOL

Even though Lego doesn't have the rights for the movies, they can still make sets to go with the hype. Because you have 2 X-Men films slated for release, and both are going to be wicked awesome.

I'm a little late to the party, but...

FINALLY I have lived to see the day sleepy/tennis hair is released in black! It's really too bad, because I have absolutely no interest at all in the set itself. :sadnew:

Oh well.

So for a fraction of the cost of the set buy the piece from Bricklink or Ebay. True the piece will be pricey for what it is, but it beats paying for a set you don't want just to get the piece you want.

That set looks cool, wonder how many pieces there is, hopefully more than the Malibu mansion as it costs £5 more.

According to Brickset, this set will have 418 pieces, so yep, about 50 more than Malibu mansion.

Are those wheel arches on the jeep new pieces too? No, actually I think it's some clever SNOT work. These are some of the best-looking vehicles in this year's SH range.

Gah, the Argos website pages for the Metropolis Showdown and Battle of Smallville sets have been taken down, now. A shame as I was intending ordering one. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait like everyone else.

Also, don't forget that "LEGO Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite" is released in two months time, with the Clark Kent minifigure. Although after seeing the price (£25/$25) I think I'll just be buying the minifigure separately...

Actually the X-men are really popular at the moment. In January X-men titles held 3 spots in the top 20 selling comic books of the month. In Febuary that changed to Two in the top ten. The X-men also have the largest amount of titles in the Marvel now relaunch, with a total of Ten books ( Avengers have 8 ). On top of that LEGO also have a Wolverine set out on shelves when the Wolverine Film comes out ( Choppershowdown, even though unrelated). Next year Day of Future past comes out which is getting a lot of media attention at the moment. Lastly MTV reported ( along with many other sites) that a new Uncanny X-men cartoon is in production at the moment.

Sure Iron man is popular but a lot of his sales will be pushed by the film. By the time December comes the whole Iron man hype will have faded and that hype will be towards the next Marvel film.

A large Iron man set may also require new Molds ( many of the new suits change the traditional faceplate shape, Igor, Shotgun ect), which Lego don't do for S@H exclusives. Same with Spider-man lots of his new villains require new Molds ( Lizard, Rhino, Scorpion ect) and even his friends ( White Tiger). Plus the Ultimate Spider-man Frachise is more aimed at kids ( not moaning as I love the show and sets.) which S@h sets are not, being aimed more at 16+.

An X-mansion would be similar to Arkham in the fact that they both:

Large Buildings that can use modular technigues.

Both have lots of Exculsive Figures with out new Molds ( Beast, Nightcrawler ect).

Plus both Appeal to more of an AFOl auidence and appeal to Kids at the same time.

Most of those xmen comics are rated T+ . And if I didn't go on this site, I wouldn't know about DOFP.

True but the target audience for the S@H Exculsives are usually aged 14+ or 16+, so it wouldn't matter ( although it would not be based on anything from the comics).

DOFP is constantly being talked about on Film shows, movie news websites and everywhere. Even talkshows here have been talking to the actors about.

It was October for the UK.

No it wasn't!!In the UK I received the quinjet for my birthday on 1st july 2012 and I had the hulk polybag free with it because quinjet was over £50, after the polybag was released in early may. They may have reissued it in oct. I assure you it is fact, that they released in originally in may.

I really hope they release that over here as they have only advertised a US date for the blu ray/dvd. It would be a real cop out if they didn't.

Nightcrawler would need a new mould to depict his tail. He really wouldn't be a Lego version without his tail, and i don't want Lego cheaping out and printing his tail one his back.

Lego would most likely just print it on the back of the Torso. That's what I thought when going through the characters.

So would the Scorpion if there will be one in ultimate spider-man, or the could make one like Doc Ock's tentacles.

There could be Scorpion, in Ock's case there were Lizard, Vulture, Rhino, and Scorpion DNA, maybe later in the season or in the rumored Season 3. I mean we are getting Carnage in this week's episode.

No the Goblin ruturns and injects Peter Paker with the Venom symbiote and he turns into Carnage.

Oh yeah, just like in the 2005 ultimate Spidey game. Hopefully Silver Sable will be in it as well.
