Mr. Elijah Timms Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Yep, Hulky's got a mildly angry face and a "HULK SMASH!" face. I'm not trying to be mean, but I do find it to be laughable (and quite odd) when the owner of a minifigure doesn't realize that it has a double-sided head. When it's rolling around in or outside of the bag pre-assembly, that's pretty hard to miss! No offense intended. You're welcome to find 'laughable' whatever you'd like. I have a lot of figs and the hero sets are currently in storage. Quote
DebkoX Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 (edited) In the UK you can get the Quinjet usually very cheap! And it's a fantastic set. You won't regret it. Well theres a site selling it for £50 with free postage. Yeah I've decided to get quinjet around July 5th (Birthday) My next pocket money is on man of steel and then I'll start saving. Thanks. Navy Trooper Fenson Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 (edited) As do I. It to bad that the Green Lantern movie was a flop and that the Flash movie has been at a stand still for sometime now, but I thnk next year we'll get a small set for each of them. Hopefully we'll see them in the Justice League movie in 2015 though so we can get them in their movie versions as well. The two sets I would like to see for the Green Lantern and The Flash are... -The Green Lantern and Green Arrow vs. Sinestro: Coast City Attack: Green Lantern, Sinestro, Green Arrow, Yellow Crops Star Ship-19.99$ -The Flash and Cyborg vs. Zoom: Showdown in Centeral City: Zoom's Lab and Destroyed Scenery-19.99$ Hopefully you are right. Man of Steel will certainly be received well enough for the release of a Justice League movie in 2015 which leads to a cinematic universe for DC. If they are going this route DC will have all its set slots have taken up by sets for the movies and maybe the shows, like Marvel already, and we won´t get comic based figures unless LEGO starts to make more or bigger sets. And I have this feeling that next year will be all about Beware the Batman and Teen Titans Go. This feeling when we will never get Justice League Unlimited Style Flash and Green Lantern. This feeling when the only comic based figures will be Comic-Con exclusive. I should really start learning how to make Decals and mold my own parts. Edited May 27, 2013 by Navy Trooper Fenson Quote
RaincloudDustbin Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I'm actually sorta hoping that LEGO release the same sort of set amounts for a few years as I just don't have to budget (or space) for anything more than what there currently is... 6 Marvel and DC sets apiece. Quote
eldiano Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 (edited) Are these keychains old news? Just haven't seen them on the lego website yet but found them at the local lego store! Edited May 27, 2013 by eldiano Quote
Sam892 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Are these keychains old news? Just haven't seen them on the lego website yet but found them at the local lego store! I knew about the Hulk one but not the White Batman one. Looks cool but we already have an Batman keychain. Someone like Aquaman or Joker, maybe even a DKR Bane. Quote
iamste Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 That Hulk figure has a new face. One side is closed mouthed, and the other is like this (Sorry about the pic, don't have one of hulk alone right now) Quote
8BrickMario Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 (edited) Yes, that's the same as the polybag promotional Hulk, just the new one is on a keychain. Edited May 27, 2013 by 8BrickMario Quote
iamste Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Sorry, I meant the key ring has a new face. That one in the picture is the promo one. Here is a picture of the new hulk keyring on eBay Quote
Clone OPatra Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Gah, it's already been explained! The promo, polybag figure has a double-sided head. There are no new faces! Quote
iamste Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Ahhh, sorry. In bed and I didn't wanna wake the girlfriend up to double check, haha. Always use the angry face and thought the other printing was with a closed mouth. Quote
RaincloudDustbin Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I'm just eagerly awaiting Thor: TDW sets. You might be waiting a long time, son... Quote
King of Nynrah Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 You might be waiting a long time, son... Well, we should find out whether or not there will be any by SDCC in July at the latest. Quote
Legoman123 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 What do you guys think the big exclusive will be this winter ? Quote
Sam892 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 What do you guys think the big exclusive will be this winter ? I've stated somewhere before I believe it will be Marvel and X-men. LEGO like to swap between the two companies each year. As an example in 2012, Marvel had an Exclusive figure (hulk) and DC got the Big Exclusive, a dictionary and a Videogame. This year DC got the promo figure (Jor-el) and Marvel got the Videogame. This leads me to marvel for the next big exclusive. Also X-men simpler because Marvel hinted a more X sets, and the mansion is similar to Arkham. Quote

I think your right, but it would be awesome if we got a wayne manor though. How do we no though if we are going to get another exclusive, or if that was just a one off ? SoupOrFishOil Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 How do we no though if we are going to get another exclusive, or if that was just a one off ? That's what I have been wondering. We have been getting winter exclusives announced in October since 2009 I believe with the Medieval Market Village. Since then, it hasn't really stuck to one theme, though there was the Castle Joust last year. I don't see why it would become Super Hero Winter exclusives all of a sudden. I do think that there will be a D2C Marvel set eventually, but I'm not holding my breath for one so soon. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 How do we no though if we are going to get another exclusive, or if that was just a one off ? LEGO releases for both companies the same amount of sets/promo figs. Right now the Arkham Asylum set has no counterpart from Marvel so that means we will get a S@H exclusive either this fall or in January. What do you guys think the big exclusive will be this winter ? I'm just eagerly awaiting Thor: TDW sets. Either X-Men Mansion which would also be a good tie-in for the "Days of Future past" movie or a Thor 2 set which I think will use the same concept as Harry Potters third Hogwarts set for order of the Phoenix which included only a single building but around a dozen relevant characters from the entire movie. The Mansion can obviously not be based on the film as LEGO doesn´t have the rights but a Sentinel in style of Orthancs Treebeard with a bunch of Comic/90s X-Men show style figs could work. Quote

A big exclusive Svartalfheim set containing Thor in his new costume, Malekith, Jane Foster, Sif, the Warriors Three and a Dark Elf or two would satisfy me Quote
Legoman123 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I really don't want a big exclusive Thor set, but I would be more than happy with an X-men mansion. On another note, do you guys think there could be Arkham asylum add ons ? Quote
Captain Nemo Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I really don't want a big exclusive Thor set, but I would be more than happy with an X-men mansion. On another note, do you guys think there could be Arkham asylum add ons ? Not at all. The pin hook up for Arkham is there so it can be arranged in various layouts, and while they could be used to add in new sections, I think it's very unlikely that Lego would be able to get people to spend more for some add on sections to an already expensive set. Gremer Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 But look at Jabba's Palace, that got the rancor pit and that was quite expensive on its own. The Rancor Pit was needed. It is a big part of the movie. Add-ons for Arkham Asylum are not needed, though still possible. Unlikely, but possible. Quote
