This dude selling them has all 4 of the figs, with 2 of each. Quite the luck of the draw if you ask me.

Well, I'm glad we get to see them so soon so I can know what to look for when I go next week, but really they aren't as good as the ones last year. The only one that I really care about is Green Arrow, but I really think they should have went with the version from the Arrow TV show instead of the one from the New 52 but maybe they'll go the other way around and have a set based on the show, which could the exclusive figure sort of a precursor to what a set will be like last year with black suit spiderman leading to Venom. I couldn't care less about spiderwoman and I don't even think they made her look very good anyway. AS spiderman looks good and I'll try to get it if I can and black suit Superman is of no use to me, but really in my opinion the spiderman and Superman are what Con exclusive figs should be, decent variations that should just be something extra to give to attendees and not new characters that everyone wants and are therefore sold on eBay for ridiculous prices that no one can afford.

True, people need to remember they only sell for what people will pay. Unfortunately, plenty of people are willing to pay these ridiculous prices for them (and Mr. Gold). It baffles me, but it isn't my decision.

As for the figures, they are neat and all, but not my cup of tea this year. And I've seen other reference materials, Green Arrow does look like the Arrow tv show also. I guess maybe a hybrid between them? I have no idea as I don't pay much attention to new comics or Green Arrow in general. I'll still hope for the other version of Arrow.

It's based on the New 52 Green Arrow. Fig released to coincide with the hype of the Arrow series most likely.

comic con hasn't started yet so the current sellers isnt all that ok really. But people complain as much of sellers who gets them the proper way.

If anything I think lego should see the demand and allow people to purchase the figures from them after the conventions. Be it polybags with some bricks. Maybe they could do a preorder period for them and only produce the amount people purchased.

The people who organize and buy up convention exclusive action figures etc. and then sell of huge stocks off it at redicuolus prices are more of an issue. with the lego figs it's the luck of the draw weater they get one or not.

That said, people who already have the lego figs propably didn't go through the most llegal ways of getting and has less rights to sell them than people who wait in line for one at comic con. Atleast that's what i think.

At the end of the day they can only sell it for wht people will pay. Lego figs from sets are also selling for more than their worth.

It affects the whole market in general. There's no way either of these figures are worth $100 let alone $1000. Plus people aren't willing to pay that much, but other people who get these exclusives and sell them think that's how much they are worth. They lower the price to around $100 and think that it's ok. Some idiot like that putting prices like that gives off an image that these figs are worth hundreds and they are not. It cost most less than a dollar to make those figures, and even with their rarity they are worth around $40. It's not ok for some moron to try and sell these things for that price, reguardless of whether a bigger idiot buys them for that price.

The value will eventually die down once the hype goes away and there are enough in circulation. I snagged Phoenix for $135, which to me was fair since she was going for $200+.

I managed to get both Black suit Spidey and Phoenix for $90 each. Which isn't too bad compared to some of the prices but, still way more than I would have liked to have spent.

Well, here we go agan...

I was happy to have all the Avengers(both full time and part time)that have been released. So much for that. I'm somewhat torn on Spiderman. Much like last years black suit, I like it but wasn't really sweating not having it. Once again, the girls get me. Still hoping to catch a deal on Phoenix.

Looks like Green Arrow and Black-suit Superman from DC and Spiderman and Spiderwoman from Marvel will be this years SDCC exclusives.

Disappointed about Green Arrow and Spiderwoman being exclusives to this year...

I liked that they had Black Supes to match the others. They did this with Shadow Leonardo too. I think this year's exclusives shoulda been Black Supes and chrome Shredder. Just DON'T do a LOTR exclusive. Especially Tom Bombadil. Then my head would blow up.

Then it's probably a good thing that Lego can't touch Tom Bombadil. Their contract is for things featured in the movies only. The Tolkien estate has the lawyers out in force watching for such things.

I just wish Lego would realize that comic books and Superhero's are all about the characters, and restricting some, no matter how obscure is a bad thing.

I'm not particularly unhappy, the black-suited Superman is somewhat insipid, as is Spiderman, I care not for Spiderwoman and Arrow isn't a huge loss in my books. I found last year's installation of Comic Con figures, specifically Shazam and Bizzaro (sheds a little tear), far more compelling. Ultimately, I wish Lego would cease releasing these sought after characters to only a select few lucky ducks. Quite annoying really.

The only Comic Con exclusive I regret not having is Phoenix. Still I think that whole exclusive route is bad business. To generate buzz, TLG should do exclusive previews but then release the figures in sets 6-9 months later. That makes these figs special for those at CC but does not create a perverse incentive to buy as many as possible and auction them at inflated rate. If someone pays $1000 for a Spiderman from this con, TLG gaves a small fraction of that? Why do it? You can get the hype from real customers by making them previews.

If TLG ever do this to LotR lines, say making Gamling only ever available at CC, I would probably walk from the line completely.

2. Spider-woman. She looks kinda meh to me. If I never get her it'll be no real loss to me.

3. Green Arrow. Yet another Justice Leaguer I'll probably never have. Hopefully we'll get a classic version down the road w/ the Van Dyke.

4. Superman. When the Jor-El picks were revealed I was wondering why he didn't have a black costume like his movie counterpart. I guess this is where his suit ended up. If I ever get this Superman Jor-El's head will go on the body.

There is no confirmation of it being US only. Lex luthor was "US only" for a time but in the uk it was included with a version of the game one every platform, I don't see why this will be any different. Plus a German retailer is apparently including it as a pre order bonus or something like that. I feel your pain though. I hope ASM2 Spidey makes it into ASM 2 sets but Green Arrow is a real shame I hope he is seen in a different variation in the future cause that is a really cool and well known character!

The suit is the right colour! look up the costume and it is the colour specified. The lighting and grading in some scenes makes it look darker but the crest is brown and the suit is earth blue. The scene where he wears just the suit it is clear.I watched it in Imax and the colours and image can't be clearer than that. There are TV spots with him wearing it take a look. The Iron Patriot is included with the Australian pre-order so it isn't US only.

I think TLG needs to look into this. The Black Suit Superman and last years Black Suit Spiderman are perfect exclusives because they are variants of figures we already have, new figures we have never seen can cause disruption in the community. I reckon when TLG relizes this, then the community may rest a little during this time.

You complain about the high prices and buy them anyway? Yes, you got him for like 40% of the regular price but that you are willing to pay nine times as much as the fig is worth is astounding. You are just proving the scalpers in their believes that they can sell them for fantasy prices.

The only figure I'm sad to not be getting is Spiderwoman. That variation of Green Arrow looks too much like the tv show that's on right now, so I have no great loss. If they release a comic variation of Green Arrow, then I will be have to be on it.
