I highly doubt they'd bother with DLC for a game so old. That's a picture for Lego Batman 1. Lego Batman 2 is out.

...

I don't know. :P

Sorry, I should have said, I imagine it woud be for LB2 :)

Could anyone else see TLG using those new cape pieces from the Chima theme for Thor? It looks a lot like his cape.

*SNIP*

What on earth are the minifigures supposed to be? Hedgehog-people and a lizard-guy?

Maybe they put the image for LB1 there because the LB2 cover was too complicated? :P Idk, but I hope it's for LB2...nobody really gives a brick for the first one.

Does anyone know what this 'Marvel 4' set is? Is it an X-Men set that we don't know about? And also, does anyone know the prices for theses sets or at least some assumptions of prices?

The Marvel 4 set is said to be Iron-man's Malibu Mansion. Whether that's true or if they are infact different sets remains to be seen . However even if it is the Marvel 4 set then we are still missing a Marvel 3. All of the Ironman sets were 4-6 if I remember correctly.

Also the prices for the winter wave are:

Batboat and Spidercycle $20 £20

Tumbler & BAT $40 £40

Daily Bugle $ 50 £50

Arkham $120 £120.

Nobody is sure at the moment. Most of us are thinking that if it does exist, it is going to pop up like the funhouse did last year and be a TRU exclusive or something :)

On another note; I was looking at info about Beware The Batman, which makes me excited about the very likely prospects of getting some more B-list villains - similar to the treatment USM is getting at the moment. As far as I am concerned it gives the DC line a bright future, because it opens up so many more previously unexplored character opportunities. That with the new addition of the Man of Steel film series, which again I am sure will raise Superman's following, and the (hopefully) upcoming JLA movie means that DC will eventually get to take advantage of the same wealth of sources which Marvel is seeming to take advantage of.

Thank you! I will definitely start saving my money... And I hope we end up seeing some X-Men somewhere...

nope. but i am def getting the batboat and the tumbler and maybe the spider chase

The spider chase is the only marvel set I've thought about getting. The price/quality of the set is sooo good.

(Sidenote: 100th post!!! Woo!)

Yay... looks like we win the highest price competition again... -_-

It's ridiculous though that amount of money for a lego set. I know there sets that cost more but I have never spent over £90 on a single set. (That was the old Arkham, and it even had £10 off at the time.)

Lego is indeed going insane with the prices. They've always been stupidly expensive. But lately... it's been getting significantly worse.

They used to have decent excuses like not using almost-slave labor in places like China. But they do that now. They've been making the move more and more towards almost-slave labor and outsource a lot of their production. I would bet that in the future they'll completely replace their factories with China ones.

This should drive the costs down, yet the prices still keep going up and up to insane degrees! What the heck is Lego doing?

wow!

it looks more like a custom set or something of that nature. would like to maybe see the bat bike in the batman movie (the new dark knight one)

also will there be a massive submarine/ spaceship thing like the one in the avengers??

Oops my bad about the Arkham price I got into the habit of typing them out identical in dollars and pounds. It's $159.99

Hopefully we do even if its a small set. I feel that LEGO teased us this year with the Choppershowdown and Phoenix figure this year.

Also after seeing how accurate the Spider-cycle is I would have loved to have seen what LEGO would have done with the Batpod.
