Good points. I'm kind off hoping for a hero and after thinking again I wouldn't be surprised if its agent Coulson.

Heck yeah! good call, I think it's inevitable that they will design him as he plays a major role in the whole Avengers storyline and the new Spiderman cartoon.

Personally I think it would suck if Stan Lee was the pre-order figure. There's just so many other cool characters that have not been made yet, and may not get made ever--unless being the pre-order of course. I hope that the figure would be Galactus, since having a minifigure version of him standing next to a Star Wars planet would look amazing.

Stan Lee would be good, otherwise it could be a variant of a minifi we already have. Galactus, I think they would save for a F4 set, with the FF in the Fantasticar fighting Galactus ( maybe in his ship) and the Silver Surfer.

Plus I think Galactus would be built Hero Factory/ Ultrabuild style, like Sauron.

I agree there's not really a need for a minifigure sized Galactus.

I would rather him be like a larger Ninjago mech.

Stan Lee would be great but I can see him being included in a visual dictionary rather than the game.

I'm definitely with Captain Nemo on this one. Stan Lee is a great guy, and would be pretty easy to make out of parts currently available. I would MUCH rather get a new hero or villain. The Marvel Universe is so rich with characters that it would almost be a shame to get a rehash of current part to make Stan Lee. I will throw my vote towards Beta Ray Bill who, unless is present in Thor 2, probably won't see the light of minifigure day in a regular set.

There wasn´t one for Hulk, too and he got to be a summer promotion. But he would need a new mold for his helmet, which I don´t believe they want to make just for a promotional article with little demand. More probable is one of the hundred characters that they didn´t already release in a set and who is playable in the game and doesn´t use new or not reusable molds. Stan Lee is would be the ideal candidate for fans but I think the preorder fig is also intended to be used by children and an old man isn´t going to be something on their wish list.

Either way, I hope the fig isn´t something too useful for me since I like to wait a few months to get a used copy for less than half the price and they make the preorder fig exclusive to the PS3 versions that I am unable to use anyway.

Will we ever see Hulk in another set ? (Either one the big figure or the small minifig) I'd really love to get my hands on one but unfortunately the Polybag is pretty much impossible to get in Europe (don't wanna pay insane Bricklink prices) and i really don't like the Helicarrier Breakout set :(

A Marvel game sounds great to those who like Marvel. My first thought was - "I'm not buyin' it..."... After seeing the 'first look' at it, I must say, it looks pretty nice and I'd buy it...if I had any of the *good* game systems it came on.

I haven't read most of this thread, so hopefully this isn't old news:

New placeholders for three Iron man sets:

Interesting, Iron Man vs. The Mandarin (76008) is listed for a March 15th release, while the two others are listed for a May 15th release. Must be a mistake.

A mistake indeed, like 76008 Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate Battle is listed as 76008 Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate. Ultimate what? Cupcakes? Vehicle? Pageant? I wanna know!!!? :)

Hey, ya never know? At this time last year who would have predicted that we would have an Iron Fist or Nova minifig? I don't think either would e in any bodies to 100 guesses. Heck last year also saw the release of a Rocket Racoon (and Groot!) action figure from one of the figure companies.

March 15th is probably a mistake I agree. I also see the Extremis set name contains "seaport" in it. Hoping for Firepower.

Well see as there's four villains in the movie.

I predict Firepower and Aldrich Killian(he did create Extremis, so this is the only set he could come in) maybe Maya Hansen, in the Extremis set.

Eric Savin in the Malibu Mansion set.

And The Mandarin in the Ultimate battle set( with all ten rings, please!!!!!! Even if the not magical, still include them!!!)

To answer a question above, I would assume we won't get any more Hulk figures until Avengers 2 in 2015 or if a Hulk movie comes out sometime in the near future. And with that said, I would assume it would be another larger mold Hulk, not the minifigure scale one.

The fig isn't Exculsive to PS3, I always buy an Xbox copy and the game and figure come in a cardboard case together. I've see the fig bundled with all of them (DS, VITA,XBOX 360 and PS3.) the only one I'm not sure about is the PC.

Also going back to the Hulk fig I think your right, there also wasn't a need for him. However like you said the Mold for Galactus puts him out of the running. My money is still on Agent Coulson. He's become a big part of the TV, Film and comics so he's perfect for everyone.

I agree with this and also there isn't likely to be another Hulk film as they bombed andMarvel have too many other movies in the pipeline. Tesco's were selling this set off for half price last week, considered getting some extras but thought better of it.

I really hope TLG do a better job with this license than just sets based off the movies (spiderman excluded of course) there are supposed to be new cartoons out this year for X-Men, Avengers and the Fantastic Four lets hope they get some love too.

Hopefully the game will generate more interest with the younger audience with characters like Daredevil, The Fantastic Four and many others. If there's enough demand for a set in the future that involves some of these characters, then I'm sure it will be made.

Also hopefully as more cartoons are made and if they appear more frequently in Ultimate Spider-man, then hopefully we will start seeing them pop up in sets.

I love the idea about a Stan Lee minifig. Here are a couple of other ideas for minifigs to throw in the mix:

Bruce Banner

Professor X

Falcon

The VIsion (!)

Thanos

Red Skull

Hawkeye (purple)

I agree that they wouldn't release another Hulk movie anytime soon due to the previous releases. Although I liked the Edward Norton version. But I think they did the best with him in Avengers. With that said, I still don't expect another Hulk figure anytime soon.

As far as a preorder bonus, with speculation I'd love a purple Hawkeye. But a part of me hopes it is another lame figure like the Lex Luthor, that way I won't have to buy the game early and wait for a sale.

I've been seeing a lot of problems with missing pieces in sets this year, and now for the first time ever in my LEGO life I had a piece missing from the Daily Bugle set :sceptic: At least LEGO customer service is really great!

Just picked up The Daily Bugle, Artic Batman Kerfluffle, and Sam Jackson Helps Spider-Man Fight Venom.

It's Friday night, there's beer in the fridge, and building to be done!

You just described last Friday night for me. This Friday? Vampyre Castle and the Ghost Train...although I may immediately rip both for MOCs. I love drinking and Legoing, lol.
