oo7 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 @007: The time period is intended to be a blend to help create more of a 'legend' feel rather than just history... Ok, that makes perfect sence now, I thought it was supposed to be a serious history/castle thing. HOLY COWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! 8- Quote
Starwars4J Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 One last question...what are the dimensions? In studs that is ;-) Quote
Norro Posted December 11, 2006 Author Posted December 11, 2006 One last question...what are the dimensions? In studs that is ;-) At it's broadest it is approximately 100 x 60 studs, no too large, not too small... ;-) God Bless, Nathan Quote
Starwars4J Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 There's no such thing as too large :-P I still can't get over the absolute beauty of this thing, Norro. Now you're gonna make my MOCing debut look like even worse crap whenever I get around to finishing it ;-) Quote
simonwillems Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Wow! Ingenious, thanks for sharing this with the world Norro! *wub* If only I had so many rocks and green branches...... 8- Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 This is a great model no doubt but the story is great too. Look forward to reading more. Will you break this MOC up to make other models for the story? Quote
Ickelpete Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 WOW!! Truly great work with some nice details. I wish I had the patience to create such a MOC Quote
Norro Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 Will you break this MOC up to make other models for the story? It is all ready gone... Thanks again for your comments all, they mean a lot to me! God Bless, Nathan Quote
El Bucanero Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 It is all ready gone... ?! I would never destroy a MOC like that!!! Quote
KMOI Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Aww. Now I know why you still have enough parts to build all those incredible castles and such. :-P Anyhoo, WOW! I never really got a chance to get reply to this topic as I'm still blown away by this MOC. It's flawless! The house, tree and waterfall are simply stunning. The attention to the details of the interior and exterior of the house really boggles my mind! Same goes for the tree, cave moss and that little wooden bridge! The waterfall really knocks me around for a loop. I've never seen so many transparent blue pieces in one place before! And the cave! Now that's stunning! I still can't understand how you put it together! I mean, it's not like those cave ceilings are entirely smooth. You've even included all the jagged rocks! Bravo! There's just so much to this I like that I could go on for miles on end. Fantastic piece of work, Norro! Your creation brings tears to my eyes. :'-) Quote
jof Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 What you need to do now is team up with a Brick Film expert & go from some still shots, to a movie set! It seems a shame not to use such a fantastic structure to good use Jof Quote
SupaaSayajin Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Excellent Excellent Awesome Superduper, etc.. 1. You have too much time 2. You have too much money 3. I once had both and did a big moc myself, so dont bother with the 2 points above xD 4. Great job, wanna see more stuff like that, its awesome!! :) Quote
Hun Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Everything has been said before, so I'll just add that this is one of the 3 best MOC's I've ever seen. Beautifully detailed, imaginative... I wish I could build something like this. I stand in awe. Thank you Norro, you made may day! *y* Quote
Norro Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 Thank you Norro, you made may day! *y* 8- Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 The most creative and fantastic MOC I've seen in a very long time. Love the waterfall and the caves are great. Looking forward to the sequal. *y* Quote
hewkii9 Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Wow. That is really, really detailed. My favorite part is the caves, I've been wanting to do something like that for a long time. And I like how it all flows and looks so natural. KUTGW! Quote
El Bucanero Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 KUTGW! What does that mean?? The word wich is made with the first 3 letters is accidently a very offensive word in my language and I'd like to know what it means in your language *sweet* Quote
Sir Dillon Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I know I'm rather late on this, but I wanted to add my comment... This creation is so awesome it's mind boggling! *wacko* It's amazing in every aspect, the landscaping, the building, the trees, the interior... The landscaping is my favorite part, the path going up is very cool, and the way you've done the rock structure is sweet. The only thing i think I don't love is the roof. I think it would look better if you had it overhand the building by one stud. That may just be a personal preference though. Amazing work over all. I am awed. 8- Quote
Norro Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 Hey all, Just wanted to say that I've added a story page to the gallery. (pic=link) I'll try to do this for each MOC in the story. Also thanks for the reply Sir Dillon, they're always appreciated X-D God Bless, Nathan Quote
