So my friend walked into a Best Buy, and bought a PS3

So my frined and i were just finishing up some lunch when we decided we wanted to go to Best Buy to get some CD's. As were browsing through the CD section, a n employee asks if she can help us find anything. My friend says "Ya. You have any PS3's in stock?" He said this to her laughing and a bit sarcasic because we both figuredshe'd just laugh at us for even asking.

"As a matter of fact, we do." she replied

"Your serious?" my friend asked.

"Yup. You want one?" My buddy looked at me in amazment.

"Sure" he replied back. She gave a ticket to take to the front counter.were we were handed a PS3.

we paid the cashier(by we, i mean him) and left. Unfortuntly for my buddy, he didn't have enough money to by a game, so it will be sitting for a bit till he gets paid. Pretty funny to see people stare at us as we left!

How many PS3 were put in the market ? Very few indeed, which would explain that no one ever even tried to ask for one :-| G, People are really stupid, ask darn it :-D

Actually I'm told the XBox 360 has a better graphics card than the PS3. It currently has better framrates on games they share. It also has a years more time for developers to harness it's powers. And it has Gears of War and Halo. It's enough.

Thrawn is right. I've played the PS3 and it's not as good looking as the 360. The 360 only has the lead by a little, mostly because it's into its 2nd generation of games and devs know the hardware better but it will always have that advantage.

Heh. I own a Wii and bought a 360 yesterday from online. Not going to get a PS3 because

A) Too expensive

B) Every exlusive they have keeps getting announced for 360 aswell

C) Its carp.

Aw, you guys are too hard on the Playstation. The fact is that in a year or so it will have exclusive games that will make you drool and beg your friends to play on their system.

I personally say get a Wii instead. I brought it over to my family's house over Christmas and it was a hit. Truly, a system for the whole family.

To each his own. Don't give people such a hard time though. That would be like always telling the train/town people that it sucks and space/mecha is so much better, when in reality the serve two different crowds. Besides everyone knows that Ninja/castle is by far the best theme ever! ;-) X-D

I dont know about the rest, but the Halo 3 picture IS in game. Bungie has always done their cinematics from in-game graphics.

I'll wait a year for all the costs to go down, then see where I stand. The PS3 is the one I have my eye on though.

Once developers start gettin' jiggy with the untapped potential, things are going to get interesting.

Who buys an overpriced $600 game system on impulse? He should have waited for the price to drop, thats the logical thing to do. Oh well i guess its not as ridiculous as paying $3000 for a Lego Star wars Lando minifig. ;-)

So iv'e been playing the PS3 at my buddy's house. Its cool, but not worth all the hype. My 360's grafics are better and my buddy agrees. I understand it will take time for game makers to take advantage of the PS3's capabilites, but like i siad, it just wasn't worth all the hype.

As for the Wii, it really just depends on the type of games you like. I'm a huge fan of racing games, and first person shooters, and the Wii is seriously lacking on both, so i'll pass on that. But if you really like fishing, or a bunch of little rabbit things running around, i guess the Wii would the choice.
