Yes, you did. You might not have, but you did. You volunteered, you took on the role with all the positives and negatives attached. If it truly was a nooby mistake of a previous alter ego, then it is your job to make up for that mistake and convince us otherwise, not just brush it aside as if it didn't happen.

That's what I'll do. If Julius is scum, yay3 me. If not, I have my defense for tomorrow.

I wouldn't mind hearing it now, to be honest. I think the case against Burbank is stronger at this point, but I agree that it's possible you're the scum here and not him.

I'll keep my vote on Wheeler. Burbank has more than enough votes, and Wheeler hasn't responded to my satisfaction yet. Wheeler's been noticeably quiet since our exchange, and I can't help but wonder why.

To piggy back on my request to hear your defense now, Ensign York, your desire to delay your defense for a day seems sketchy. If you're a Loyalist, I see no reason why you wouldn't want to make that clear to everyone as soon as possible. The Purists already know who is and who isn't with them.

I think it will be kind of hard to argue my defense of lynching a townie when we're not even sure if he's town. But I'll try.

So, Julius admitted himself he and my alter-ego planned the PM. That's highly suspicious, so one of us, if not both is probably scum, correct? So my alter-ego is put in an asylum (we're 3 in one spirit) and I join. I suddenly argue against Julius. If I was scum, why would I take such a reckless course of action. And as I stated before, the scum probably have this all planned out. I argued against Julius the second Admiral Bob said I could play be born into this game of life. If I did it so fast, where was the time I contacted my fellow scum to change plans? They certainly didn't contact me, no one knew I was playing had a 3rd spirit. I'm just saying the scum have lie and plan carefully, and I'm doing the exact opposite, and this could turn into WIFOM*. But personally, I think the 3 completely different behaviors is too crazy to follow a set scum web of lies. Did I miss anything?

:hmpf: Way to read the whole game. To be completely inconsistent and kind of a hypocrite, I use WIFOM all the time. Stupid.

Right here!

Got ya.

No, you chopped off the rest of the quote. :hmpf:

I realize that I'm arguing against a report in my favor, but to be clear, Daly's theory was that we're both Scum and I got you to quickly fabricate that conversation with me.

Text emboldened for emphasis.

The Admiral expressly forbade me from influencing the game, so I shall just poop on you for randomness, not for any other reason. Have some mushrooms.

But that report you said was in your favor, is it true or not?

It's true that you and I didn't fabricate the PM. My point was that no one other than you or me can know that.

I'm naturally more of a lurker type, so I'll really only come forward if there's a point or accusation that I think is worth expanding upon.

I really hope most of us didn't vote for him for that reason exclusively. That's a terrible reason to vote. Are you completely forgetting the discussion around his scum claim and how people felt that in the light of what happened on Day 1, it was the best evidence we had at the time? If you did it for vote analysis, where is your vote analysis? What has it taught you?

No, I don't think everyone thought the same way I did (though several people mentioned it). I agree that that reason alone would be a poor reason. The point I'm trying to make is that the situation on Day 2 was a little more complicated rather than an exact repeat of Day 1. On Day 1 I thought Mandel was scummier than Pewter, but that didn't mean I thought Pewter was town. It wasn't a "change of heart" to vote for the next suspicious person when my top suspect was eliminated.

Most of the analysis would have only been useful if Pewter was scum. In theory we would have looked at anyone who brushed off the case (myself included) as a potential scum cover-up, but we obviously know that method wasn't going to work when Pewter showed up as town.

You happy?

While I do need see the point of a defense from you at this point, I sincerely hope that if it turns out Burbank is town after all, you come with something substantially better.

Ok. If Julius is town, I've got some explaining to do. But he won't, and if I somehow die and turn out town, I hope you all know who to vote for.

There's a majority on the doc now, right? I don't feel as obligated to help out with this lynch anymore. Like I've said, Burbank hasn't quite been himself lately, but I haven't been able to place a finger on why. I still can't. Maybe we'll find out tomorrow. For now, though, I'm going back to my suspicions from earlier in the day.

Unvote: Julius Burbank (Brickdoctor)

Vote: Samantha York (Flare LEGOman273 Capt.JohnPaul)

Three very different personalities. None need accept blame for the others, but whoever is up in that head of hers must accept the reality: Ensign York has been digging quite the hole today. Getting tied up in this mess with the doctor was one thing, but now, taking a 180 turn on previous attitudes? I'm not saying you must follow through on the actions of your antecedents, but to so drastically change the direction? It at least begs suspicion. On top of that, you tried to twist a quote to your favor, one that, when read in context, easily and thoroughly disproves the point you were trying to make. I don't expect to see a lynch on York today, nor do I wish to split the votes. I just find her actions as of late, on top of those of her previous selves, when combined, to be much more suspicious than Burbank.

He argued a quote for his favor. That's why I asked for the confusion to stop and him clearly say if it was true or not. I urge you to not split the vote, it's going to be the same effect. He turns up town if we lynch him, I get lynched most lickely. If you split the vote, nothing happens, we're back where we started. If you convince everyone to lynch me, I turn up town, Julius would be lynched probably. We're both dead. :sceptic:

It's interesting how you ignore the possible scenario where I'm lynched and I'm Scum. It's not true, but it is noteworthy how you seem to know that I'll turn out to be Town...

I'm not trying to convince everyone to lynch you. I was just stating why I decided to switch my vote. Bob only knows what would happen if I changed my vote with no reasoning, especially so late in the day (Is this day still going on, even? You lose track of night and day when you're up in space for so long!). You asked for the confusion to stop after you tried to use the bit you quoted out of context to pin him.

I really don't expect nor want to split the vote. Others have given their reasons for voting for Burbank. My main reason? I was reminded that lynching is one of our best tools for gathering information, and best weapons for getting rid of purists. I didn't want to cost us another lynch, and so I joined on. Since then, others have voiced their reasons for actually suspecting Burbank. Myself, I wasn't convinced about either of you being purists and I'm still not. I just see you as a more likely suspect at this point than Burbank, and recast my vote accordingly. If, somehow, the vote shifts from its current majority against Burbank, well, then let me apologize in advance, but I highly doubt that it will.

Since then, others have voiced their reasons for actually suspecting Burbank.

Should read as "Since then, more people have voiced their reasons for actually suspecting Burbank", with the point being that withdrawing my vote from Burbank now should not reduce the vote-tally against Burbank from a majority (That's if it even would have when I first voted--I didn't exactly keep track of the numbers at that point).

Where's that server? I'd like some popcorn to go along with this drama. How exciting. I do feel like it's been quite a long day. It feels like I was a "brave" human with lots to say in the wee hours of the morning and throught the course of this marathon day I've become a dead tree stump that poops magic mushrooms. Weird. Anyway, pardon me for interrupting. I'd hate to confuse or intimidate any more would-be-voters. :hmpf:

Nice job trying to imply that. :hmpf: Why would I need to say that scenario? If you turn out scum, why would anyone go for me?

I don't get what anyone going for you has to do with your not wanting to split the vote.

I don't want anyone to split the vote because one of us will get lynched eventually. Better get it over with for the good of the loyalists. I'm saying that whenever one of us turns up town, the other one will be a prime suspect.

3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours.

By my count, the day has lasted over 85 hours. Perhaps that jostling of the ship was us sinking into some weird wormhole? Could the Scum have a Dreaming God where they get to change a rule or something? Did they make the day last longer and the ship shaking was an indication that they did that? Isn't there a role that causes there to be no night phase? A Nexus? What's happening? Surely, Admiral Shirley knows how to tell time. Not that a magical tree stump should be speculating about such things or anything... :look: Poop. Mushrooms, anyone?
