well that's one wide question. so what is it exactly that you want help with?

Basically how should I portray it.

I hope to display this at an upcoming convention.

And what scale are you trying to make it?

Big over 150 minifigs+

Will you be using additional bricks other than the sets you have mentioned?

Of course I will.

How will you make the Oliphants?

I plan to BL some Elephants and then turn them into Oliphaunts

I'd start by doing some sort of rough draft. Maybe design a layout diagram...or even better; design an olliphant in LDD, post it here, and then we can go from there! It's easier to help when you have something to work with. Sounds like a fun project, and I can't wait to see how it goes.

Start small and then add brick by brick. This is a project that could be overwhelming before it even starts. I'd also suggest building the Oliphants - in the movie they're huge and if they're not scaled well, they could look very out-of-place (like the upcoming Rancor).

If we are talking movie universe here there shouldnt be a great amount of uruks. Certainly not anyone in armor.

I think the lego elephants will be fine as mumakil, lego scale isnt that specific, and you don't want the mumakil that much bigger than the structures.

Nice project. I think using Uruk-Hai parts is fine, as longer as they don't look exactly like Saruman's Uruks. Try mixing heads and armours with other minifig pieces from older Castle set.

When it comes to Mumakil, I'd prefer building your own in bigger scale. It isn't much more expensive than bricklinkin elephants, because those are quite pricy nowadays. Brick-built mumakil also look a lot more interesting and bigger scale makes them look more intimidating. I built this mumak in January 2011 and I'm quite happy with it.

Me either I will start soon

I am thinking of making level 1 of Minas Tirith

What will be my other evil infantry? i cannot get 10 orc forges

I will build one then maybe BL a elephant .

I will make the side bits of helms deep larger! To make it like the city and the Uruk armour for Gondor soldiers

It looks like from the video there were three of you that contributed to this? How old are you guys? For younger members(?) this looks really good. My only suggestion on the Minas Tirith would of been to add some light gray bricks to the lower part to give it some detail and break up the pure white, but it's probably a little late for that now. At any rate, I can't wait to see how this turns out!
