Vaders_son Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Hey there! I'm thinking of selling my old playmobil (yes I know that's not really a LEGO topic) because I want to buy a lot of troopers in 2007 *wub* It's about 10 kilos and mostly wild west (2 forts, one indian tipi and a lot of soldiers and indians) Also a circus and some other stuff. What do you think is a price I can achive with that? And if anybody is interestet just tell me about it ;-) Although I need a place to sell? - what about ebay or somewhere else (eb for example if anyones interested) Vaders_son
Kikuichimonji Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I suppose it's like most Lego: the value depends on the rarity and completeness of the sets. And since most members here won't have much knowledge of the rarity of Playmobil, I think you're better of asking this at a Playmobil message board. Or you could just list them at Ebay and take a chance. Don't forget to sell sets individually though.
Vaders_son Posted December 13, 2006 Author Posted December 13, 2006 Do you think that will make me get more money for it? (selling the sets extra I mean)
Jipay Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Playmobils are valuable items, and there are also collectors for them. We had a topic about it on ebay (you can use the search engine). It might be helpfull. As for the site, if there is no bricklink-like, then ebay is likely your best chance
Kikuichimonji Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Do you think that will make me get more money for it? (selling the sets extra I mean) I meant that you should put up an auction for each set you have. People tend to refrain from bidding on bulk set auctions simply because they'll end up pretty high. Selling each set individually will likely net you more money in the end (but might take a bit longer)
