As a few people have said, the water combined with the surface of the water is an amazing detail and adds a lot of awesomeness to the MOC. Also, the faces and expressions on the figs are exactly right for this scene   Excellent MOC, I hope you create more LotR ones soon :classic:

Also, the fish are a nice detail, and so is the seabed!

Thanks again for all the kind comments, everyone!

I can't take total credit for it, my little brother helped me out on the concept and the build itself. It turns out he wanted to enter it into the LotR building contest from the newest Lego magazine, so I went ahead and put it up there for him: Frodo to the Rescue

I hope you create more LotR ones soon :classic:

I hope to soon! I also think it would be fun to have a Eurobricks LotR vignette build-off. I'd be excited to see what other scenes you guys come up with.

I hope you win something! You already have 50 thumbs up. And some other people tried to copy your idea...

This is lovely and very very good.

I really like the way you've made the water, it's very eye catching and I like how you can almost make out real bubbles in it and it has a real sense of depth.

One thing I would consider though would maybe be to use some sort of hinged piece to allow the boat to rest at a slightly steeper angle...but that's nitpicking and it's certainly great as-is.

Nice work!

That would make the boat tip slightly more toward the camera, correct? Good suggestion!
