______ Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Very well done conversion! I love all the little details you added into the castle, this is very nice. Quote
sologuy369 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 This is really cool! I not a huge batman fan, but I want this! I like how there are empty cells for future villains. Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 (edited) I love this! Mr. Freeze's cell is the best. I actually had the idea to make a Vampyre Castle like Arkham. I started on one tower and stopped because I thought it sucked. Looking at this has encouraged to work on it! (Don't worry, I won't copy you! ) -Sci Edited July 21, 2012 by CM4S Quote
THENOOB Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Nice little detail, ecspecialy the Penguin and penguins' cells. Quote
just2good Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Excellent conversion, 'the Hulk'! The details are great. I love love LOVE the play features. I'm a sucker for those. Quote
Solscud007 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Wow nicely done. Icon cur, the play features are excellent. Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Very impressive conversion and neat play features too 'the Hulk' ! The Joker will crack a smile at this one ! Bat-brick On ! Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Well done, how many extra pieces didi you use? Quote
Gooker1 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Well done, how many extra pieces didi you use? Amazing conversion. Sadly, I don't think Lego's potential Arkahm set will look this good. ;/ Quote
Vindicare Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 That is awesome! So full of play features, very official. I like the use of the Holiday Target set 1x1 as the security camera. I like all the different cells and they all have unique escape features to them, great job there. Can I come over and play too? Quote
marcosbessa Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Great adaptation! I loved how you clearly thought through all the different details according to each villain that you wanted to include! ;) Quote
Oky Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Wow, that's great! I've been playing with the thought of buying the Vampyre Castle just for this purpose too, but now that we're (most likely) getting another official Arkham soon, I'll wait to see how that one turns out. I love all the details you put into the interior. I especially like Mr. Freeze's, uhm, freezer. However, while Penguin's cell is very nicely executed as well, I don't think that he actually likes low temperatures, but maybe that's just my interpretation of the character. Nice work! Let's hope the upcoming set will be at least close to this good! Quote
HawkLord Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 That is great how every Batman enemy has a different cell design. I really like Man-Bat's. At least he gets a chance to stretch his wings - must be on good behavior. Quote
Spider-Man Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 However, while Penguin's cell is very nicely executed as well, I don't think that he actually likes low temperatures, but maybe that's just my interpretation of the character. Somebody get Penguin in here quick so he can tell us the answer Awesome conversion! It looks like a great set to play with! My 6 year old brother (and myself) would have a great time playing with it! Quote
Ferrik Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 It looks spectacular! It's great how each cell has different characteristics depending on the villain that's inside. I'm looking forward to more conversions and maybe even MOCs from you. Quote
wazza98 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Wow this is awesome! I like how most of the different villains get a cell personalised for them! Brilliant! Quote
fawkesthephoenix Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 wow!!! this is awesome!! i never imagined that the vampyre castle would make an amazing arkham asylum!!!! It looks great!! Quote
The Blue Brick Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) This is awesome. I really like how you have made a room for a lot of the villains. The castle works great too once you put the sign up.I never would have thought of that. I might need to get the Castle out of my room tonight and start building it. I might MOD it in the future once I get bored with it. Hopefully the Arkham Asylum that might be coming out will be as great as this. Edited July 24, 2012 by The Blue Brick Quote
JackJonespaw Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Wow, nice conversion! I love all of the detail you've put into this, this could be a new official Arkham! Great job! Quote
legolegolegolego Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) This looks like a lot of fun. Edited July 25, 2012 by legolegolegolego Quote
the Hulk Posted July 25, 2012 Author Posted July 25, 2012 Well done, how many extra pieces didi you use? I do not know exactly but I would guess that I removed around 50 bricks and added in the neighborhood of 200. Thank you all for the comments. This has been a lot of fun to build and is getting a lot of use. There are a few other modifications in the works. Quote
Fabjoueauxlego Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 That's great, good job here ! Really enjoy the spirit of your creation. Take a picture in the dark while it's rainning and it'll be perfect ! Quote
Captain Nemo Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 This is a great conversion! It's perfect for a small Arkham, and best yet, the majority of the building is already ripe for conversion in the Asylum. I hadn’t thought of another use for this castle, and with this possibly, I may want to pick one up now! Quote
