I personally don't think they'll crossover. First of all, I think having Green Arrow in JL would be a mistake because it would draw too many obvious comparisons between The avengers and Justice League and I don't think WB would want that. Second, having him in the movie would screw with the show. Then they would have to deal with Green Arrow being a part of the Justice League in the show. Third, if he really was in a JL movie, it would be extremely random for viewers who haven't seen Arrow to accept he just randomly appears and helps them fight. It's easy to accept that we don't know much about Black Widow and Hawkeye because they're shield agents. Shield brought them in to help fight. Arrow doesn't have any connection like that, he's just a vigilante. Fourth, JL would have to take into account the entire how ever many seasons of Arrow there would be and that's probably something they don't want to have to deal with. I don't think Arrow really fits with the tone of the DC movies anyway. And also, if Green Lantern appears in the JL movie having Green Arrow and him might be too much Green. Unless they just call him Arrow I guess... Just my opinion. And I don't really know much about Arrow so...maybe he'd work but from what I've seen of the show and the DCCU, I don't see it working.

I agree on the Hawkeye and Green Arrow comparison, DC has unfortunately waited on Warner Bros to finally take action for their cinematic universe and trying to get all of the heroes out there means they are entering an arena where every Avenger, Marvel fan, and casual viewer has been accustomed to the Avengers. People will not let DC get away wit putting Green Arrow in the movie, they wouldn't understand it. They shoud try to make this movie as original and different as the Avengers as possible. As far as explaining why Green Arrow is there, I have confidence in DC's ability to explain things out thoroughly, and don't see how it could present a problem.

Does DC have an equivalent of Nick Fury/Shield? I suppose they could bring green arrow in. Or maybe Batman could if he somehow knew about him.

Well there's A.R.G.U.S ( Advanced Research group uniting Superhumans ) who are run by Amanda Waller and Steve Trevor.

I agree with you, there are a lot of comparisons between Hawkeye and Green Arrow in the comics but DC has definitely defined its character more in the media. Yes, Hawkeye is more popular, obviously, because he starred in the third highest-grossing film ever as well as Thor but we don't know much about him still. We know all about Oliver Queen. We know that he used to be a spoiled brat until he ended up on an island where he had to learn to hunt or else be hunted.

I still think it's possible for the DC Universe of television and the DC Universe of film to combine. Stephen Amell has done a decent enough job on the television series to portray the emerald archer on the big screen. He really needs the goatee though... I honestly think that combining the television series with the movies is the only way to go. The Flash is a member of the JLA that must be included in the JLA movie. If there's no Flash, there's no JLA. And since the Flash is getting his own television series, they have to combine the continuity of the television series with the movies or there's going to be a lot of confusion among the audience.

There is one thing I do know though: The Batman/Superman movie is either going to make or break the Cinematic DC Universe. Warner Bros is so hesitant to make superhero movies because they don't want to make another Green Lantern or Batman and Robin movie. If Batman/Superman fails then we will most likely not see a JLA movie. I don't think it's going to fail though. I've got hope. I believe in Geoff Johns.

The real question is: Who is going to be Green Lantern in the JLA movie? Are they going to keep Hal Jordan or give the ring to John Stewart?

If I had to guess, I imagine they'd want to distance themselves as much as possible from Hal Jordan.

I'm gunna guess most likely Hal for the simple reason that until recently the people in charge of making DC movies at WB, didn't know there was more than one GL. Wasn't until some asked at a convention that they dropped that bombshell.

I agree, I loved the Dark Knight trilogy and MoS was okay, but most of the other DC films were a bit 'meah' for me, they never captured me the way the Marvel films did. Conveniently the only other DC films I like are the original Burton Batman trilogy .

I vote break. They're going a stupid route. They're being impatient. Marvel actually introduced most of the characters from Avengers in previous movies. Plus honestly Wedon is better at his job :P. The only character with any backstory is going to be Superman. Yeah, we've all seen Batman before but I don't fully buy the whole "he doesn't need backstory since other Batman characters have enough". It's still a new guy.

I mean I liked Man of Steel just because that version of Superman fit my expectations almost perfectly, including his willingness to kill if absolutely necessary (which he DOES do in the comics more than you'd think...). But for most people it lacked. This next one will just lack more.

Considering the fact that DC is getting its Cinematic Universe dragged by Warner Bros and Marvel is being controlled by Disney, I don't think the comparison is fair game. Plus the Flash is getting his own film, and so is Wonder Woman. It's all up to who WB decides to have make the movie. Yes Marvel seems to be at the top of their game Movie-wise, but I'm not sure they'd be doing that good had Disney not swept them off of their feet. At least that's how I view it, since I didn't really like Marvel films before the Avengers.

Again, not sure where you're getting this information. These projects have long been rumored, sure, but are not greenlit at this point.

The Flash was announced at SDCC, the Huffington Post has an article on

it, and Imdb has listing on it. This was also confirmed by the Hollywood reporter, though that article seemed a bit fishy.

As for Wonder Woman, a link to Gal Gadots contract waslinked some 2 pages back, confirming that she signed up for a solo Wonder Woman film, a Justice Leaue film, and Superman vs. Batman. I just wish they'd go a bit slower with these films, but oh well. Simply going back a page or Googling this would have gotten you an answer. Hope I helped!

Everybody has some great points, I agree that there trying to rush, to match the success of Marvel. You gotta remember it took Marvel Studios almost four, almost five years to line everything up perfectly to make every nerds dream come true and have an Avengers movie. I just don't think DC is patient enough.

Based on the wise casting choices, and clear well thought out decisions that they have made up until this point? I'm gonna have to go with G'norrt. Cause after Marvel goes over the top and makes a billion $$$ again using a talking Racoon, something is gonna snap. Some head of something deep in the bowels of WB will scream for a furry! Cause Furries make money! And thus we will get G'norrt'ed.

And the Suicide Squad has entered the DCCU. Or at least the DCTVU. Overall not a bad episode. The Suicide Squad themselves were great. I love Deadshot and Bronze Tiger. I think they could build a great Mission Impossible type show out of these guys. The B story this episode, with whiny emo Ollie Queen was however in a word, awful! It just dragged on and on, and took way to much screen time away from Deadshot and company. Much the same with Diggs Afghanistan flashbacks. They didn't add enough to be worth the amount if time they took up. We got everything we needed in 4 or 5 minutes of the first two. Everything after that was annoying. And honestly do not care for this take on Amanda Waller.

So Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson is seriously hinting at a possible future role in a DC film. He's thrown out names like Black Adam and John Stewart, and then said "Green Lantern's been made and stamped". This is leading me to believe that Warner Bros has already cast a GL, hopefully Denzel Washington. If these tweets are anything to go by, we very well may see Black Adam in a future film.

Seriously what the crap? The next movie is going to have the entire justice league and a huge cast of evil d00ds. What are they thinking? You need DEVELOPMENT!

I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the name of the movie to Justice League.

I agree, their not patient enough to handle these films. The DCCU will die at the hands of Warner Bros.

I think the "Green Lantern's been made and stamped" is actually referring to this quote he gave someone asking about his role in a future DC project:

The other quality is that the character we were looking for had to be well known but never brought to life.

Black Adam would be cool, even without Captain Marvel I think he could work as an enemy of Hawkman, Wonder Woman, or Dr. Fate, but I wouldn't count out Green Lantern either since the movie focused on Hal Jordan and not John Stewart, different characters, and he's been dropping hints for GL, Black Adam, and Lobo for months now. He's just playing with the people who speculate.

And I don't think Denzel is happening... :look:

Who said anything about the Rock being cast in BvS?

Hopefully not Washington, the dudes in his sixties. He's getting way too old to do more intense stunts, and by the time a third justice league is made he'll be in his seventies.

He'd be a much better choice than Dwayne Johnson. Idris Elba would be my no. 1 choice for Jon Stewart but I couldn't see a Marvel actor going to DC. Just keep Ryan Reynolds. He was a brilliant Hal Jordan. He wasn't the problem in the Green Lantern movie, the story was.

Edit: I think @Freddy Bricker's right. Dwayne Johnson's gonna be somebody else, maybe Black Adam. Green Lantern's already been picked. Sigh...That's a relief.

I thought I read somewhere that he doesn't want to come back.
