TheLegoExperience Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 But DC? I mean they are planing a Suicide Squad movie? They just had SS in Arrow, using major recurring characters. And they look to be bringing Tom Hardy back in Suicide Squad... but not as Bane? We've already known the those two universes were separate before MoS even came out. Quote
Mr Man Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 has anyone started Constantine yet? I saw the pilot a few weeks ago. It looks god, but I'm not familiar with the comic. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Not being a big Constantine guy, I thought the Pilot was well done. Not amazing, but there's definitely room to grow, so I'll be sticking with it for a while. Quote
Zilcho Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) The suicide squad cast list is out, what do you all think about it? Edited December 2, 2014 by Zilcho Quote
K-Nut Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Looks pretty good to me! I heard a while back that Smith and Courtney were going to be in each others roles (Smith as Boomerang and Courtney as Deadshot), but honestly I really like the idea of Smith as Deadshot. Hardy as Rick Flagg should be cool too. Definitely color me intrigued. Quote
commodore_legolas Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 The cast look good, except for Jai. Not really a fan of his acting. Also, I hope the rumors of Oprah playing Amanda Waller are fake. Quote
Steph 104th Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Also, I hope the rumors of Oprah playing Amanda Waller are fake. I could not agree more, unless everybody is getting a bullet. I don't think she will be a good pick, the Arrow series's version (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) is much better. Quote
JimBee Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Teen Titans live-action show to begin filming in 2015. I don't usually visit this thread, but as a huge fan of the original Teen Titans cartoon, I'm psyched for this. It's not confirmed to follow any storyline from that series, but it sounds like it takes place a little farther in the future because they have (Dick Grayson) Nightwing instead of Robin. Raven and Starfire are also confirmed, I just hope Cyborg and Beastboy are also included. It'd be interesting if they picked up on what happened with Terra, Slade and Raven if there are to be any ties between this show and the original. Quote
Steph 104th Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Oprah isn't Waller! Thank all goodness! Viola Davis is taking on the role. http://batman-news.com/2014/12/16/viola-davis-amanda-waller-suicide-squad-reports-latino-review/ Quote
TheLegoExperience Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 That's good to hear, she's a good actress. Though not of the larger type.... Quote
Zilcho Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Almost at the mid-season finale of The Flash and I must say I'm absolutely loving it. It's so true to the comics and it's such an enjoyable watch. Quote

Im a brickmaster. Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 So I've been hearing whispers in other threads that they might split Dawn of justice into two movies?! I gotta say that's about the most retarded idea ever Quote
Ultron Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Agreed. How long can a movie about batman fighting superman really be? I'm praying it's just a rumor. I'm not seeing it if it's two parts. Quote
Cammo Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) Certainly a different colour scheme. Official Aquaman: Edited February 20, 2015 by Cammo Quote
Ceroknight Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I like it a lot. Does the 'unit the seven' refer to him being the king of the seven seas or the Justice League? If it's the JL, who's the seventh? Batman, Supeman, Wonderwoman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman and....Cyborg/Shazam? Quote

I like the costume, I'm annoyed he's not blond though. Quote
Mr Man Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Certainly a different colour scheme. Well it's grey instead of brown . Quote
Steph 104th Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I really like the look and I also think he's going to be a very brutish character. Quote

I'm disappointed that they left out Martian Manhunter- he's more of a core Justice League member than Cyborg. Quote
Steph 104th Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 It's Cyborg. I'm disappointed that they left out Martian Manhunter- he's more of a core Justice League member than Cyborg. I share your dissapointment, but hopefully he's in a Justice League of America movie, like the New 52(which would be awesome) Quote
TheBatstan Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I wish every pic didnt have a filter on it, that'd reduce about 75% of complaints about lack of colour. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 You forget that Zack Snyder only makes washed-out movies with distracting color schemes. The entirety of Man of Steel outdoor scenes looked like they were white balanced for indoor incandescents, making the whole thing blue for no reason other than to be 'edgy.' Aqua man might have a little more color to him in the film, but I wouldn't expect much more. I'm actually surprised how much praise I've been seeing on the internet for that picture. I have nothing against the costume per se, but the picture has 'we're making it dark and gritty yayay!' I fully expect this BvS to be as bad if not worse than Man of Steel due to Snyder's truly terrible sense of what tone to take. Quote
TheBatstan Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I disagree with you there but I hope that Terrio's fixes greatly improve whatever lines Goyer wrote. Terrio being brought on as the writer of JL shows that he must've done something right. Not to mention that Larry Fong, the same cinematographer who was responsible for Watchmen's imagery, is back.
