Dannylonglegs Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) To the new players: always claim neutral serial killer. Sillyness aside, it will be fun to follow this one. Don't listen to him younglings, that's a sure-fire ticket to get killed! The best role-claim is none at all. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited July 25, 2012 by Dannylonglegs
Adam Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Is it possible for me to play this even if I was in several mafia games years ago? In any event, I could use a refresher.
Tachyon Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Well, you see, I've already got the plane tickets, car rentals and hotel villa rented for the honeymoon, and those are all non-refundable.... I guess I'll just have to wait until the NEXT mafia school to try playing.... Why don't you play on your honeymoon .
Shadows Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 The best role-claim is none at all. Boring! I live for the roleclaim, it's the only thing that keeps it exciting for me. Is it possible for me to play this even if I was in several mafia games years ago? In any event, I could use a refresher. Welcome back!
Waterbrick Down Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Better yet, you get your spouse to join EB and you can both play during the honeymoon. I'm glad you're still interested in playing even though you keep on missing all these opportunities. Pandora and Rick, if the presentation/hosting skill is anywhere near the caliberer of IMHOTEP I'm sure this will be an amazing game to watch.
Adam Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Welcome back! Thanks! Examining the first post more carefully, I guess I can't play. Oh well, it looks like it'll be a lot of fun; I'll be watching closely!
JimBee Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Yeah, welcome back Adam. I really hope to see you playing again!
Hinckley Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 (Chillax Darth Frodo ) (so we don't have to give Chillax Darth Frodo a spot. ) I'm so disappointed in the two of you! Is that anyway to treat an eager new member? With cynicism and derision, :hmpf:s and :tongue:s? I sure hope you reconsider and give him a chance. I'm sure he'll be amazing! Is it possible for me to play this even if I was in several mafia games years ago? In any event, I could use a refresher. Every Mafia School game should have a 12 year old lawyer. The game has changed quite a bit since you last played. Maybe they'll let you in for a refresher. That'd be cool. Welcome back.

Adam Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Thanks for the warm welcome, JimButcher and Hinckley! Good to be back! Every Mafia School game should have a 12 year old lawyer. I'm a thirteen year old lawyer now, and I can wear big boy pants! Haha, anyway, I have sent you two (Pandora and Rick) my PM in case you do decide to let me in. Can't wait to (maybe) play!
Professor Flitwick Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Is it possible for me to play this even if I was in several mafia games years ago? In any event, I could use a refresher. Wow, nice to see you've come back from the realms of Eurobricks inactivity. Welcome back! Hmm... Macoco returned to Mafia games for Jedi Temple Mafia, AwesomeStar for Excalibur, and now Adam returning for Police Infiltration. Who'll be next?

Macoco returned to Mafia games for Jedi Temple Mafia, AwesomeStar for Excalibur, and now Adam returning for Police Infiltration. Who'll be next? Maybe Lord Arjay?
Darkdragon Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Quarryman? That'd be nice. I don't know any of the other names mentioned.
AwesomeStar Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Wow, nice to see you've come back from the realms of Eurobricks inactivity. Welcome back! Hmm... Macoco returned to Mafia games for Jedi Temple Mafia, AwesomeStar for Excalibur, and now Adam returning for Police Infiltration. Who'll be next? Glad to see somebody remembers my atrocious attempts at playing previous Mafias games. Just call me by name: Mr. Day One Lynch
Robominer Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 To the new players: always claim neutral serial killer. SKs are always Neutral. It's not a great claim, but there's nothing unusual about the claim or the role of "Neutral Serial Killer". Neutral Cop, on the other hand... "I'm a joker" is the worst. Lesson learned: Never follow anything the regulars do, because that will lead you into even more trouble.
AwesomeStar Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Just a quick question, but if there are any spots left open (though I'm sure this game will prove very popular)is it possible to put my name on a 'reserves' list of some sort? I would really love to play this specific-themed game, but if not then no worries and of course I look forward to watching all the... "magic" unfold.
CMP Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Maybe Lord Arjay? Nobody's first game should have such a fine line between mafia game and massacre.
JimBee Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Oh dear. ^ Agreed. We'd have to lynch him Day 1 just to be sure.
Pandora Posted July 25, 2012 Author Posted July 25, 2012 Is it possible for me to play this even if I was in several mafia games years ago? In any event, I could use a refresher. Funnily enough it was discussed some time ago that players who haven't played Mafia for a long time (or have only played a couple of games) would actually be encouraged to take part in a Mafia School game as a refresher, so you would be very welcome. The same would really apply here, however you're already playing Excalibur Mafia, so it's a 'no', sorry.
AwesomeStar Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 The same would really apply here, however you're already playing Excalibur Mafia, so it's a 'no', sorry. Okay, thanks for the swift reply! I look forward to seeing it all unfold. Who knows, maybe another City/Police mafia will roll around in a few years time or something.
Bob Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Yes! And Kovacs too! I'm still really sad that Kovacs vanished on me at the end of Red Scare Mystery. He had it all figured out and then he mysteriously went away. Trexxen. What about Svelte?
