I certainly hope you have a ridiculous amount of disposable income. I think we all probably push our budgets to maintain our lego addictions, but $130 for a single minifigure? I'd return it for a refund and buy a trainset or two full series of minifigs.

I don't mean to be rude, but who are you to tell him how to spend $130? It is his money and if he wants to spend it on a fig he can. It might seem like a lot for one fig to you but perhaps he doesn't have enough space for many more bricks but would like to keep collecting the minifigures? There are many things people spend well over $100 for that I think is absurd, but if they want that item and thats what makes them happy then so be it. You just never know what the situation is so it doesn't seem right to criticize someone for their own decision.

Since he's unwilling to trade, I would send it back and get my money back.

If you don't want to risk it, you can just resell it on eBay and hope to buy another one for the same price or cheaper. I'd do it sooner than later before the prices start to steadily rise on these figures.

I guess it's expected to have members comment on the amount of money you spent on it, but if you really like the figure, then knock yourself out!

I paid $250 for the Toy Fair figures this year, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase as they're great minifigs.

Good luck!

I wasn't the first member to comment on the price of this one figure, but I should've realized that I would be the first to upset others since I'm new and unknown. Unlike the guy a few posts above me who's been here for 2.5 years and has 500 posts, I still proceeded to give him advice on his situation to the best of my ability. A critical comment with a snarky smiley adds much less to the conversation than an honest opinion coupled with the requested advice.

But I do apologize if it came off like I was telling him how to spend his money or criticizing him. As mentioned, I'm new so I'm still getting a feel for what's offensive around here and I'll be careful of my wordings in the future. Perhaps a newer user should get a bit more slack than those who've been around long enough to know better.

$130 isn't that much to spend on a minifig when you see what else is out there.

Back on topic, send it back and get a refund.

Sure, you'll probably find it difficult to get another for a similar price (they're just going to go up and up in value the longer you leave it), but if you really want the minifig then I'm guessing you'll shell out a few bucks more for another one.

Don't worry about Spiderman. He's new here too and he's such a troll already.

As for the Bizarro issue, good luck with that. I'm not afraid to spend for something I want. But if the condition of the item is not what I'd expect, I would expect a refund.

Do what any eBay flipper would do. Put it up on eBay as the 1 of a kind variant bizarro with missing mouth and eye paint. I'm sure someone will bite.

Ticktockclock, your wording was rather harsh but I'm glad that you've seen where you can improve and have vowed to work on it. That's all we can ask of any member, old or new.

Don't mini-mod please.

Pot, stop calling the kettle black.

Yes I agree I spent a bit much for the mini figure. Its unfortunate that supply and demand dictated such a high price for the figure. However this is a figure I really wanted and I do not want to miss out on one. I originally set a price to spend at about 75.00 but obviously that was not going to happen. I do not feel I over paid as I have seen Bizarro sell for much more then 132.50. I do however take issue with the sellers lack of an accurate picture. The seller was willing to take it back for a full refund after he "inspected it" when he said that it made me kinda worry that just sending it back for a refund might be more difficult than necessary. I opted to keep the figure with a refund of 32.50 which put the cost at an even 100.00. I feel at that price I believe I could flip it and recover all cost even with me pointing out the marks.

I on fbtb.net I noticed the pictures they posted had face print issues on the sad looking face. Even with the flaw I am just happy to have one and content to not have to keep watching auctions to get one.

Thank you all for your input.

I think keeping it was the right thing to do, and it's only a minor error, and hey, you got a full 30 bucks off

Nicely done!!! I think getting Bizarro for $100 is a steal!! It's a great piece! Glad you're okay with it in the end. :)
