IMG_0215.JPG

Very good:)

I'm sure itispossible to put there 2m motors- one for steering, one for propulsion!

I'm thinking it shoud be possible, but it might be pushing it a bit when I think a battery box should fit in there somewhere too...

I will take some better pictures too :classic:

I've been using these due to there size and weight difference over the standard PF battery packs. Just a thought! Looking forward to more pictures.

Of course i like it when somebOdy gets inspired my a moc i make but i am slightly annoyed that even though i post pictures of my original moc that inspired zbij's odea nobod replies to my post. I am not theilled to post any more pictures of mocs on this forum, since it doesn't bring anything anyway.

@ Thelonious Monk: People DID reply to your original MOC, and liked it. It is inspiring. Heck, I doubt I would have thought of it. Please don't stop posting your creations.

Thanks DLuders.

But I have no motivation at the moment to post anything that has to do with my MOC.

Think about it, you have a nice idea, which you post on this forum expecting it to be a Work In Progress thread where you post pictures of your progress and where people comment and give advice.

Then somebody else comes around, takes the idea and completely steals your thunder.

That doesn't make you want to post a WIP MOC, only a finished product.

Again, I don't have a problem if people find my MOC inspiring and want to make something themselves as well. But if somebody else completely takes over my idea, yes then I have a problem with that.

This is not about anything against zbij of course, I like what he did as well. But I found it a bit rude that he didn't post his version of the mini crawler on my thread instead of making his own thread with my idea. Maybe the mods could have merged the threads. After all, it is technically the same creation, that spun from my brain and made him think about how he could make one as well.

I didnt want it to look like here's mine version, look at this thread, so it looks like i'm stealing the show...

Jeez, I was just inspred, I didnt steal stuff...

I know that. And like I said I don't mind if you feel inspired and want to make your own version of it. But do you understand why I am irritated?

For not getting enough attention?

I posted 5 or 6 pictures of what I was working on and got no reaction

You can see from the replies above that it is not true that you got "NO" reaction. 'Bye.

yes, it definitely has to do with that. Hell, I posted 5 or 6 pictures of what I was working on and got no reaction

But no hard feelings, that's not your fault

I posted pictures of my WIP drift car, and only got two replies, the fact that I got little attention doesnt bother me, because I've built two MOCs since thendefault_laugh_new.gif. Just because you're not a star doesn't mean you should quit. Who knows, the next one might be all that anyone's talking aboutdefault_classic.gif

You should be motivated by your own need to create, not what everyone thinks about it. Not everyone on here can be a 'MOCstar!' :classic:

I like your mini crawler a lot. The fact that you inspired someone else to build it says a lot for your idea, although building miniature versions of larger models is nothing new. Just keep on building and have fun!

Many of us do want to be a "MOCstar". It's hard not to be demotivated in situations like this. I understand Thelonious monk, in a way, Zblj has stolen the glory (in a way, because sooner or later someone would have built a mini 9398 anyway).

Not to be too offended though, getting away and removing post is not too mature. Thelonious monk should fight back and build better MOCs than Zblj.

(I felt a few months ago that Sheepo "stole" "my idea". I wanted to make an amazing off-roader, and I still not dare to tell what brand. But he did it before me. Almost every stuff I wanted to make. And he got freakikng featured in newspapers!!!!111!1. How could I ever make anything noteworthy if I could only copy. That totally demotivated me.

After 2 months of no building (mainly because no money at all to buy Legos), I back again and build something. Probably it will be dwarfed by Sheepos Land Rover, but whatever.)
