I live in small old (around 1200 years old) town called leatherhead. It is in surrey, UK (about 20 miles from london :-) ) My towns two greatest claims to fame are 1. Well I live in Esthal as you can see right under my pic ;-)

I guess nobody knows that place because it's sooo small (1500 people and about 3 horses).

It's near the City of Kaiserslautern (K'Town)...some might know that.

I live in Messina, a city of 250,000 inhabitants in Sicily.

I think this city has wonderful natural and historical resources. Unfortunately they are not well exploited.

The city centre is a little chaotic, public transport is very unrealiable so most people use their own car. Since there are not enough parking places, they leave the car in "double line"... contributing to the traffic!

Luckily, I live near the city centre so I can go on foot. My university is not in the centre and is easy to reach by car in less than 30 minutes.

I must say I like my city, because it's neither a "small" or a "large" city... For example, when I go out on Saturday evening I always meet people I know... this is unlikely in a large city like Rome or Milan!

But at the same time it's not a little city: it has lots of schools, an university, shops, cinemas, and so on!

And, in summer, I can reach the beach in about 20 minutes!

I live in little old tiny Briarcliff Manor.

Here's a Google Earth screenshot of the public middle and high school;

They naturaly chose the most undesirable place in the whole town to put a school directly bordering gamma ray emmiting high tension you can vaguely see in the top left corner and a 6 lane highway.

I live in Tatooine. My home city is Mos Eisley. I basicly live in the rim of the city, away from the scum there. But then I have to deal with those pesky Tusken Raiders, maybe I should move to Mos Espa, I hear they got good podraces there! Anyway, Texas, that's interesting. If I may be so bold, what caused your move? I used to live right near Sing Sing Prison in a town called Ossining (which is really just the letters of Sing Sing with an O on the front) But then moved to Briarcliff Manor because our house was a wee bit too small.
