I'm not into the whole rap thing, not really music to me. But it was fun to see a lot of artists preforming songs I'd heard before, though I think most were older than me. (I don't usually stray from my christian hard rock)

I didn't get to see it, which was a real shame, although people I know who watched seemed to say that it sucked. I kind of doubt that's true. I was really unlucky to miss it, but we had no electricity pretty much all of yesterday and most of today too.

The worst thing that happened in the Closing Ceremonies is 1-D instead of Coldplay. And someone is not impressed...

Though overall GBR did a brilliant job hosting the Olympics, all events were entertaining to watch and not much controversy hosting-wise (though there will always be in judging/scoring complaints in some sports).

As a miserable bastard, who was really grinded down by all the pre-olympic LOCOG megablocks, I'm surprised that the event went as well as it did.

I'm glad it did go well, the opening ceremony was stunning (didn't see the closing) and the event was heart warming really.
