August 3, 201212 yr Very cool but in my opinion, too much grey Yes I know, but this was the only color that I had enough Thanx
August 3, 201212 yr managed to coble together mine with mostly black parts Minicrawler on small cralwer i can articulate to big brother! I've got less agressive fenders on mine since i didn't have matching colored ones for what zbj used though still came out well.

August 3, 201212 yr I see you used bigger wheels. Does it still work okay with them? Ya with the larger wheels has no problem rolling around on my bed (with 2 down comforters ontop >.>) an can on a flat surface push itself over my fist (about a 3 1/2 inch obstruction). may be slightly harder on the motors but sofar seams everything is working alright I really could use the different clutch gear since mine seams to allow a lot more slipping.
August 3, 201212 yr Nice shrinked version of the crawler. I really like the climbing abilities of it.
August 4, 201212 yr Got a B model shell made!!! sorry for the image size >.< http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/T-Tank/ZBJminicrawler/zbjminicrawlerBmodel/img_20120803_225833.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/T-Tank/ZBJminicrawler/zbjminicrawlerBmodel/img_20120803_225819.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/T-Tank/ZBJminicrawler/zbjminicrawlerBmodel/img_20120803_225848.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/T-Tank/ZBJminicrawler/zbjminicrawlerBmodel/img_20120803_230026.jpg Edited September 22, 201212 yr by Rick

August 12, 201212 yr came up with another body shell for the mini crawler based off nico71's trial crawler it has a small hand turned wench on the front an a static engine on the back I'll get to making a .ldd file of the body when i've got some free time. OH YA an i'll get a .ldd file of the B model to! mini crawler nico shell 1 mini crawler nico shell 2 mini cralwer nico shell 3 mini crawler nico shell 4
August 13, 201212 yr put together the instructions for the nico trail crawler body for the minicrawler. I couldn't put all the parts together in LDD but once you assemble with real parts the body is under a little bit of tension but it holds together tightly hell i've dropped the crawler from a 3foot drop with the body an it didn't dislocate in a single spot! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/T-Tank/ZBJminicrawler/ZBJminicrawlerN71/Instructions/minicralwernicotbody.jpg Building instructions Edited September 22, 201212 yr by Rick
September 22, 201212 yr Here is a photo of both models. I only now realised that the suspension was not meant to be as stiff as I found it!... <accidentally deleted the attachment. Will have to find original file again> Edited February 2, 201510 yr by BachAddict
September 22, 201212 yr Wow! This is a fantastic model, not only ridiculously compact, but with good performance too. I really wish the rechargeable battery packs weren't so expensive.
