SheepEater Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Amazing MOC. First time I actually see a human move on a 100% lego built vehicle. I can't help but feel sorry for those parts, though... they must be under tremendous strain. Quote
Paul Boratko Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 From a person with your rep (top builder), I take that as a massive compliment! Thanks everyone! I am so chuffed everyone likes it! LOL, this is far above and beyond anything that I have ever done or could ever do... I must have showed this to 20 people today... Quote
Burf2000 Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 LOL, this is far above and beyond anything that I have ever done or could ever do... I must have showed this to 20 people today... Mate, if you had made it, it would have 6 speed gear box, adjustable foot rest, springy seat and a whole lot more! Thanks for spreading it around. As for other comments (massive thanks) I will weigh it tomorrow but its got to be 20kg at least. So far I have broken 1 12long axle and thats it! It does strain a bit with me on it however I hope to improve this and even add sidewards movement plus a whole lot more. If I could get the LEGO, I would give a full size car a go or a 2 story house! Amazing work, non lego people get that is cool and how hard it is to acheive, well done Thanks mate, randomly its up to nearly 30,000 views on youtube and I keep getting blog pingbacks, I don't know why but people really like it. allanp Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 you folks invented the language.... is it too much to ask that you speak it?! on your side of the pond, is this forum known simply as "bricks?" heh! KEvron We do speak it. Chuffed is in the Oxford dictionary, it means "very pleased". BTW I looked for the word "heh" and it isn't in the Oxford dictionary so just accept that you are an American who doesn't know English however being American you like to tell the rest of us how to speak, act and live and we'll forget about it Quote
grum64 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 a bit of americana, such as it is. KEvron Just looked up Good 'Ol Mr Wilson. 'Mr. George Wilson – Dennis Mitchells' (aka Dennis The Menace) neighbour, often exasperated with Dennis's antics, though is proud that Dennis considers him his best friend.' Does Jake call me Good 'Ol Mr Wilson? No, but I'd like to think the above description, applied to me, is in his little mind somewhere. Quote
