Darth Doggfather Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 After noticing the registered users count approaching 1000 and after looking at Mr Tiber's thread, I got an idea. EB members can introduce themselves again, even if they have been here since the founding of EB. Just reply with a post introducing yourself! My example: Hi! I'm a teenager who loves LEGO and this community. I enjoy building MOCs and showing them off to my friends and family. I like to play with LEGO, too! I hope that I will have a great time on this board! Quote

Khorne Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Well im just a dane that created an little unknow website with a french guy called Jipay... Why aren't you one of the Root Admins then? Or is there no difference between a Root Admin and a Global one? Quote
Zarkan Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Hi, My name is Grevious, and I am an average member as always. :-P Actually, I was pretty noobish and a bit childish when I first joined, but I got a second chance about half a year ago (no I wasn't banned or put in the chamber) and I have been fairly normal ever since. Other than that, nothing more can be said about this slightky geeky 13 year old. ;-) Quote
DoubleT Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Why aren't you one of the Root Admins then? Or is there no difference between a Root Admin and a Global one? Because Jipay stood the the technical stuff, and i did all the comercial, contact with other sites and lego. and a bunch of other stuff.. Not to sound like i want fame.. jipay is not the only one who created EB.... And we had aloto of helt from guys like Yoda, Vader Apu etc.. Quote
Legoman Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 well, i'm a 12 year old New Zealander.and a absolote lego fanatic.my fav themes are Star wars, technic, mindstorms and city is also kinda cool.although i have no city, i love the cranes *wub* .other than that, i'm me :-P Quote
Jipay Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Why aren't you one of the Root Admins then? Or is there no difference between a Root Admin and a Global one? There is. As root you hold on all the technical stuff, plus manage the relationship with TLC. I created the main structure, the logo, the website, own the name, pay the fees, set up the forum at first and then was joined by Apo in that task. Now that Apo is gone, Hobbes is taking the lead with me on this. Quote

Now that Apo is gone, Hobbes is taking the lead with me on this. Oh... I thought that Root Admin was something reserved for the people who started this website, I didn't thought there was such a difference between the two :-/ . Quote
Jipay Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 It is also reserved for the people who started it :-) I changed that with hobbes only. Quote
Echo Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Hi, I'm Echo. i was a lurker for a while before I decided to join last October. I am a pretty good Space MOCist. Quote

EXO-CHAMP Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 For those who doesn't visit the Mecha forum, Gaming forum or TIE army thread. I'm Exo-Champ and absolutely nuts about Exo-Force, making E-F MOCs and playing strategic games. I'm also a serious E-F collector and I'm currently only missing 1 promotional E-F mini (the elusive robot exo-suit) to complete the 06 line. I even got this one just for show: Quote
Lost Viking Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Wow, nice Exo! Where did you get that? Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I bought it on the internet. A danish version of ebay. And it was quite cheap. A GT costs 130 danish kroner. I paid 150 danish kroner including transportation. Only drawback is that all the joints are glued together, but I'm just going to have for display anyway... Quote
Kahgarak Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Well, i am Kahgarak. I come from the Netherlands, am 13 and a half years old, and i like these themes: Bionicle, Exo Force, Knights' Kingdom, and some Space sets. I like building Mecha, and small spaceships. Yesterdaynight, i made a dropship with my brother. The colors still need some work, but i am satisfied with the design. A fig can easily be put in there, and it has 4 turrets. Quote
Brick Miner Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 this is a really strange thread 8- Quote

Vader Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Hmmm how did i forget to post here :-/ oh well nevermind. Anyway im from the UK and been a lover of lego since i can remember, i found EB a few years back whilst searching for somewhere other to post than fbtb. Back then this sites membership was really small and posts were not that regular unlike today, i joined up at the same time as Orlego and the 2 of us hit the boards like crazy. Many members since then including Orlego :'-( have left and only Jipay, TT, Apo and Sam remain. Ive met alot of very interesting people some good some bad and enjoyed my time here so far. :-) Quote
Khorne Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Im Khorne. I'm from Belgium (Belgium rules, France drools! :-P ) and I'm 15. I've been into Lego since I was a kid. I collect SW, Castle and I also have some Pirate sets. Other hobbies of mine include, but are not limited to: going out, listening to music, watching tv, playing videogames, sleeping, etc... That's about all I guess :-/ ... Quote
ApophisV Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 *stands up* Hi my name is Daniel and I'm at the AA meetings since their beginnings... Wait... Uh, we aren't at the AA, right? 8-| *sits down* Okay, let's begin again: Hi, I am ApophisV or Apo or Daniel (just as you want) and I am very close to my 23th birthday. I helped developing Eurobricks nearly since its very beginning. Lately I am not that active due to my job and university (and other things in my life that happened lately) that keep me VERY busy... My Dark Ages (notice the capital letters! :-P ) ended with the Star Wars line and since them I became very addicted to LEGO again. Currently I am not that active LEGO-wise meaning I spend not much money on it the last months and I didn't build anything for weeks. But this might change with the winter holidays and christmas (I'll get Vladeks Dark Fortress! >:-) ) coming this weekend! :-D So I did my duty with posting here (anybody noticed me posting more often again lately? ;-) ) and now I will write a picture review! (You guys will hate me afterwards >:-) ) So see ya around! Now that Apo is gone Hey! I am NOT gone! I am just.... not here... much... 8-| :-P Quote
