MTIB - Monster Truck In Black. An offroad truck sort of based on a 1977 Dodge Powerwagon. Since this is 6 wide I thought I would put the front turn signals behind the grill, if I make another one I will try a 7 wide which will get the look a little better. Sort of still a work in progress.

Interesting backdrop there Oran. I too live the chrome parts. I'm wondering if a mini fig will fit in there.

It is one of the desktop backgrounds for Windows Vista on a laptop with the icons turned off - it was interesting that the keyboard did not react to the baseplate I set on top of it. Yes, there is room for a mini fig even though I did not put seats in yet. Will be trying to get a chrome "roll bar" later.

Cool truck and I like the background to the pics  The tires you chose work nicely :classic:

Amen! Thanks for your kind comments. The background is one of the desktop backgrounds for Windows Vista on a laptop with the icons turned off - it was interesting that the keyboard did not react to the baseplate I set on top of it so I thought it looked good. I will be trying some others soon. Will be trying to get a chrome "roll bar" for the bed of the truck. Going to look into making an off road type baseplate or just buying one - thinking about that. If you have time check out my "works in progress" for some simple buildings to have in the backgrounds.

Brick On Drive On !

Thanks Lightningtiger! Always appreciate your comments and taking time to look.

Very cool design. I love how high it is off of the ground. The chrome looks good on it too. Great job.:classic:

Thanks TBB!

Love the chrome parts.

Have you tried motorizing it with a M-motor?

Thanks SheepEater! Have not got into motors yet except for having some of the pull back ones.

Really? So you don't have any Technic pieces either? Too bad, your vehicle begs to have one.

I love to incorporate technic mechanisms in town vehicles when I can. Here's a tiny motorized snowplow I made in 2003 in classic town style.

Hey SheepEater - I was thinking about the remote control stuff. Yes I have one of those blocks with the batteries but the wire is damaged. I forgot about it till I saw your link. I will get another one of the wires someday. But yes I do have Technic pieces.
