I'd probably go for set #4000012 Piper Airplane, the set handed out to the participants on this year's exclusive tour. Partly because it's rare, but mainly because I really like the way it's designed. If I could find the instructions somewhere (LEGO uploaded them to their website, but then removed them again, and I didn't save them in time) I might build one for my own collection.

I would have to go for one of the fabled "Europa" themed sets, preferably the largest they had. Going with officically produced though, I would have to go with a Fort Legorado.

I would have to go with 10179 UCS Millenium Falcon because its one of the largest Lego sets ever produced (2nd I think behind the Taj Mahal), its the biggest Star Wars set ever produced, I missed this set and now is so over priced I cant afford it  , it looks awesome, brick built canopy. This would be my most prized Lego model in my collection if I owned it and every time I see it in person it looks so huge and amazing.

I would select the Lego Model Team 5571 Giant Truck set! drool.gif

Me too, that truck is so good-looking.

At least it is probably the most expesive amongst the few rare/old sets that I'd like to have.

10182 Cafe Corner for me as well. Is the set part of the prize as well? Ha ha, just kidding, getting the book would be enough, thanks.

In my youth, I remember staring dreamily at the tiny LEGO catalog's even tinier photo of set 6390 Main Street.

But I think I will settle for something with a little more play: 497 Galaxy Explorer.

This would be a tough call, while there are a lot of sets that flash thru my mind just for their size and the amount of pieces you could get, such as any the various Modular's, UCS or even older sculpture lines, I'd have to go with something older. Also while the Classic Space sets have some draw I'd still have to bypass the likes of the 497 Galaxy Explorer for what's become my 'core' focus, something Castle related. The 6040 Blacksmiths Shop has eluded me, the 6002-2 or 0016-1 Castle Minifigs would be a great temptation, my choice would have to be a town set:

At first I thought it would be a tough call, but then it hit me like a lighting bold: the 6274 Caribbean Clipper! I always wanted that set as a child to have something to fight my Black Seas Barracuda! Even if the BSB is the cooler set, I long(ed) for the Clipper - And now excuse me, I have to go and shove my Ship MOC over the carpet :cry_happy:
