How can I create a thumbnail to my MOC?

I want to update my 'About Me' page to include my MOCs, and I want to link to them with a thumbnail that links to the topic. I looked it up in the Tutorials index, but I couldn't find anything about it (I want it to look like the links to the reviews in the review indexes). Could somebody help me with this?

I don't know of a specific tutorial, but you can use one of these to resize your image to thumbnail size:

Basically, once you have a thumbnail image of a suitable size ready you need to:

- go to My Settings/Profile/Change About Me Page

- use the Insert Image button and paste the URL of your image (assuming that you have uploaded it somewhere -- Brickshelf, Flickr, etc)

- click on the thumbnail image that should have appeared to select it then use the Insert Link button (next to the Insert Image button) and paste the URL you want to link to (the address of your topic for instance)

- save your changes and you're done!

Just to add if you use flicker, one of the sizes they create is a thumbnail. Makes it really easy.

After I've resized the pic to thumbnail size, how can I make it a link that leads to the MOC (I use Brickshelf)?

You don't need all the extra symbols you are using.

Simply this

[url=”thread URL"][img=thumbnail URL][/url]

Gives you this.

Since the board accepts it I was trying to make it as simple as possible. HTML is a little more complicated.

That is Rick. I prefer BB code so I've never tried, I didn't know it didn't work. I just meant he had the code portion right.
