Edwin Korstanje Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I don't know how to resize them. And I am only 16 years old,so I can't afford me a good camera. Tibivi It's not the camera, but take time and a lot off picture's and post only the best and sharp one's and for resize them take a Flickr account and set it on 800x600 and deep link them too EB I think Dluders make a topic off it too resize your pictures Quote

If you haven't got a digital camera or such borrow it from your parents or friends. They are resized by the forum software once the page is loaded so it's not that big of a problem. The blurriness is another thing. Anyway it seems like good practice to take part in the reviewers academy program. Not only for the forum experience, but help with photography as well. It's one of the reasons the reviewers academy is there, to upgrade the quality of reviews. MOC or not. Quote
Aussie BJ Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Good job on making the Camper RC powered. You couldn't tell from the outside. You have a great collection there on Brickshelf. Investing in a good camera with macro function and an empty back ground would make your great MOCs and sets look even better. Brendan Quote
KEvron Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 an empty back ground when shooting, i use white posterboard as a backdrop, and i prefer natural light to artificial light. i also use posterboard to reflect available sunlight onto my subject. lots of good light compensates for my stupid webcam. KEvron Yes that's what I meant a plain background is best practiced. Would love to have the money and room for one of these. Quote
tibivi Posted August 10, 2012 Author Posted August 10, 2012 I will try that next time. Thanx for the advice Quote

Razvy_cluj_ro Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I saw your model some time ago, very cool that you motorised the Camper Van. I want to motorise my 10220, too Could you make instructions for it? If I look better on your pictures, I don't see the Batery Box and the receiver ; where you put them? They fit into the model? Quote
tibivi Posted August 12, 2012 Author Posted August 12, 2012 The battery box goes in the model between the seats, the IR reciever goes on the bed. I wanted them to fit in the roof, but they are to large. I am taking better pictures of the mechanisms because I don't have time to make pdf/LXF. So I will upload these pictures soon. Tibivi Quote
tibivi Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 The photo instructions can be found on my Photostream: My photostream Greets Tibivi P.S.:If I want to insert an image from Flickr, I get a board message that I may not use this file extension. What am I supposed to do? Quote
DLuders Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) @ tibivi: Here is the procedure for imbedding your 10220 VW Camper RC Flickr photoset photos into a Eurobricks post: 1) Left-click on a thumbnail to select it (and enlarge it somewhat). 2) Right-click on the larger image and select the "Medium 800" pixel size. This will match the Eurobricks maximum image size (800x600 pixels). 3) When you see the Medium 800 image, right-click on it and select "Properties." 4) Copy the URL of the JPG and paste it into your Eurobricks post. Make sure that the image URL is surrounded by the HTML image tags. The result will look like this: Edited August 13, 2012 by DLuders Quote
Phoxtane Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Alternatively, you could resize the images in a image editor like Photoshop or Paint.NET to 800x600, then upload them to a site like Imgur [What I use]. Chrome allows you to right-click an image and find its URL from there. Then, you can just use the "insert image" tab at the top of the post editor to easily put an image into your post. It's two icons to the left of the smiley insert icon. Quote
tibivi Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) Here they are finally, thanx to David Luders More instruction pictures at my Flickr:My photostream Tibivi Edited August 14, 2012 by tibivi Quote
