Dead Men of Dunharrow

Wow. So many nice custom Lotr figures! Love the armored moria orc. In my opinion Guritz is your best yet. He couldn't look better.. or should I say worse (worse is good for an orc! :grin:)

I'm very intrigued by how you got the skull on Guritz's head weathered. Is it photoshopped, or did you paint/dye it?

This all reminds me of the time before my dark age when I would customize minifigures with clay, paint and decals. Good times!

I painted the skull very lightly with mere streaks of tan citadel paint brushed upon the surface of it, painting around the eye sockets and mouth.

Many thanks! I ought to do that to all my skulls one day. It would be neat if TLG produced a skull variant like that.

You can really see how good you have gotten at customizing over the years.  The ones you put up last March are really nice, they look great.
