Dovahkiin also includes a full minifigure scale interior split amongst three decks, plus bridge. You can find many more pictures including interior pictures at my Flickr C&C welcome.
August 11, 201212 yr AWESOME and huge creation 'MacK', reminds me a little of B5 Earth Force battleships. I the detailing inside and who said you need aerodynamics in outer space eh ? Brick On Fight On 'MacK' !
August 11, 201212 yr Wow! Nice SHIP! and I mean SHIP! I like how you avoided the cliched sleak look - in space - there's no air drag And great work on getting the name written in brick! And the interior is fantastic - some really great details. Great ships like this really really make me want to try building my own. What's the internal structure/skeleton of your ship like? Though with the top being so smooth, I'm surprised you didn't tile some of the side panels as well... Really fantastic job.
August 12, 201212 yr Very cool SHIP, I like the shape and the interiors are wonderfully detailed I especially like the chairs with the mikes built in
August 12, 201212 yr Those two cannons in the front, is that where it shouts? Awesome build though, really big and cool looking!
August 12, 201212 yr Author Thank you all, for the replies! Wow! Ni Great ships like this really really make me want to try building my own. What's the internal structure/skeleton of your ship like? Though with the top being so smooth, I'm surprised you didn't tile some of the side panels as well... The lack of tiling was mainly due to a lack of pieces. I've added a couple pictures of Dovahkiin's internal structure that you can find here. I can definitely recommend building a SHIP, but it certainly helps to have a PaB wall near you… Massivly stuning or stunningly massive Needs more guns and greebles though I agree I should have added an extra pair of flak turrets. Those two cannons in the front, is that where it shouts? Of course! I’ve also added a couple pictures of the drop pods. Each pod can hold four marines (without their shoulder armor), and two of these pods can be launched from Dovahkiin. Marinesdeployed_1 by ComradeMacK, on Flickr
August 19, 201212 yr Wow, Huge SHIp man! Love the design! although you really should add more guns and details on the side, when you have enough bricks to do so. I'm curios, roughly, how many bricks is it?
August 20, 201212 yr Author Wow, Huge SHIp man! Love the design! although you really should add more guns and details on the side, when you have enough bricks to do so. I'm curios, roughly, how many bricks is it? Thanks for the input. I will add an extra pair of turrets to Dovahkiin, they'll go in-between the existing turrets, and the name. I'm also trying to increase the size of the main guns, but I can't find a suitable solution for the muzzles of the gun barrels. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make a gun barrel that has a bore of 3, or 4 studs? As for the number of pieces I have no idea, but I think that there are 1472 1X1 round plates in the engine block alone, so the entire ships part-count must be in the thousands.
