they already CAN clone people... but there's always the chance that the clones aren't healthy... the same for dolly, she died because of a disease resulting from problems with the cloning process...

the problem is, that the scientist don't know ALL circumstances for a "perfect" cloning process... they differ from each race (e.g. humans, cows, sheeps, and so on...)
