Flare Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) What exactly is a defended counter? Adam is of the berserker class. A die roll of 4 is Defended Counter - which means he receives normal damage but strikes back with his weapon power. Look up Berserker for more information - which reminds me: in the berserker class, he's not able to change targets until the chosen target is defeated. The next round of the battle will be up soon. The_Customizer Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 That worked wonderfully! Of course, that is beside the part where I lost half of my health from free shots. Perhaps, instead of applying venom, you should heal yourself. I don't know how useful the venom would be for this fight anyway." Quote
The_Customizer Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Hmm, good point about the venom. I'll update the battle order. However, if you attack the red viper, I will end up losing less health from free hits. Plus, if the red viper does release it's power, everyone would gain 3 health, which would be useful for me and Adam, and wouldn't really do much for the Demon Frog. It would also bring another snake, but that shouldn't be too bad. Plus, there is a low chance of your getting special damage from it. The_Customizer Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Well, that couldn't have gone worse. Ok, here is what we'll do, as Adam is confused, we could try to nurture him, if that doesn't take away the confusion, he could just sit in the back row and do nothing. Do you think that would work? Quote
Palathadric Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 "My mind is a bit muddled right now, but you could try a similar battle order and actions to last time. If you attempt to nurture Adam you will most likely succeed though. You can also make your battle action dependant on what those before you do though, so if you fail you can either try again or Adam can sit back. If you have Adam sit back though, it may be a good idea for me to target the other demon progg so he won't get a free hit against you, and then you can still hope to use your roots of life ability. If that works out then Adam can still fight." Sorry, I've got to run, will hopefully think up something useful, but just see what the worst results could be of using this kind of battle order or something similar, if you don't mind. Quote

Another thing I just realized is that I do double damage to the demon frogs due to my diamond imbued cross. I should have started out attacking them rather than Adam doing so, but, unfortunately Adam cannot change his target until it is defeated due to his berserker nature, so... You should probably keep targetting them though, because if possible, we don't want to have their special activated unnecessarily." Edited November 3, 2012 by Palathadric Quote

The_Customizer Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 I would be up for auto-rolling, but I am afraid we'll die too quickly from free hits. Also, considering the fact that once Demon Frog A is killed, Demon Frog B leaves, so we would have to adjust for that. Battle Order _____________________________________________________ Erdathcath attacks Evil Frog B Adam Repeats attack Monk (You should probably repeat your attack) Erdathcath Attacks Evil Frog A Monk, if you have any other ideas, just let me know.
