Sarge, stop fooling around, we obviously have a situation on our hands, do we kill the last power tree and steal the apple? After all, we are unable to finish our quest without it, or perhaps the brothers at the gate can explain their lack of guarding they have done for this poor forest.

Well men, with that in mind, there is only one thing to do, figure out where to get this good soil, and help the Sapling grow!

You are right! That must be the piece of soil which will make the sapling grow instantly, causing other ones to grow, and in just a matter of moments, the entire Power Tree forest will be back to what it used to be!

If the party desires to do the following it would probably be best to ask Mossdredds for permission first.

And honestly do you really expect such drastic changes? You don't know if the piece of dirt will change the universe for better or for worse Or it might not change the universe in any obvious way

Turning back to Mossdreds Erdathcath asks his permission "Sir, it appears that we have a piece of Dirt That Will (presumably) Change the Universe. Perhaps that is the type of rich soil needed to regrow your Sapling? If it is, may we use that?"

Erdathcath removes the Piece of Dirt that Changed the Universe from her satchel, and places it around the roots of the sapling, hoping for some positive results.

[Flare]

Erdy packs the dirt around the little plant. Nothing obvious happens. Mossdreds quietly hums and the party waits patiently.

As the sun starts to set the tree shakes.

The power apple falls off into Erdy's hands.

"Hhhmmmmmmmmmruuuuuuughhhh ahhhhhhhvvvvfuuuuuuuhuhhmmmmmm rrhhhummmmm!!! Hmmmmmmmmghruhhhhmmmm ahhhhhhummmmm.... hhhhhuuuuhhhhmmmmmm rrrrhhhhhuuuugggghhmmmmmmm...."

"He said the following: Ahh! I feel energy running through my roots, and energy radiating out of my little one! Thank you heroes! Take the apple and be on your way in peace. Perhaps your kind actions have changed our universe."

"He adds that if we like mushrooms then we should check out the other side of the dead stump over there. Each of you four deserve some extra treat."

As it starts to get dark, and the party stands by the stump discussing their next move, a streak of aqua-blue is seen coming from the entrance.

Eugene seems genuinely glad to see the heroes.

"Hey! I thought I'd find you here! Come on, lets get back to Dr. Trice's place, he's starting to get a little worried about you guys! I came here to escort you guys back. Ready to go? "
