Atramor pulls out his Decamon Deck and leafs through it, attempting to summon the Tweetybird (Flying 1) from the back row and have it attack the Barghests until they are at half health, whereupon Atramor will use his Decamodifier on them. If Guts does not land a hit or a critical hit, his Carcinos attacks Barghest A, and his Pegasus attacks Barghest B. Next round he will use his Decamodifier on Barghest B. She would soon be ready to ride and for perhaps battle as well. Hoke just hoped that she saw him as a competent fighter on his own accord, which would benefit him when issuing her commands in battle. He ran his gloved hand across her thorny scales. He could easily feel her heat through his gloves. She had grown several spikes all across her body, but there was still room for Hoke on her back behind her shoulders. Quote
