Kiray draws her sword. The barghests were interesting; she had heard about them in stories but never seen one up close. "You three should target the barghests. I'll take the dire wolves since I have the most defense." She attacks Dire Wolf 1 from the front.

Note: I will say that since it can be ridden as an orc as a mount, bigger than germ it is.

The fates are fickle for our heroes but their armor and forethought saves most of them from harm. Mirerun’s brutal blade evicerates the lead Barghast, even while a second sinks it’s fangs into her shield. Due to their enchantments, both seem to come out more powerful for the experience. Kirby and Na’im both land solid hits against their opponents. Germs unfortunately misses his opponent, giving it the opportunity to loose a mighty howl calling a compatriot to the battle that immediately sinks its fangs into the rogue.

Even with their lead beast taking a near mortal wound at the hands of Miderun, the pack seems to be gaining momentum. Unfamiliar with the strange dwarven weapon, Germs shot goes wild as the catapult flies into the bushes. Two of the dire wolves take this opportunity to sink their fangs into Germ. Even though the wounds have been superficial they are beginning to take their toll on the mysterious rogue. Seeing the wolves sink their fangs into her companion strikes a nerve in Kiray, as she once again ducks behind a hedgerow to survey the situation.
