The Legonater Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Might I suggest a tactical withdrawal? It would seem to me if anyone were to attempt to revive our fearless leader, someone else would be knocked out. In fact, without Docken, we may get knocked out one-by-one anyways. Quote
K-Nut Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 "Dyric, you should probably run..." "We're all gonna die!!!!" Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I use a smoke bomb OoC: I think he wanted you to Flee, not use up a consumable.I'm just, uh... reflexively clarifying, not giving orders while unconscious. Quote
Sandy Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 QM Note: I still need the battle order, and the actions from Althior and Xander (and Docken, if he gets revived). Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 OoC: posades, give the Order. Legonater, you might want to add a conditional statememt to your action and posades, you should put Legonater last. For example, "I Flee, unless Althior rolls Magic Burst, in which case I target the Hungry Bear." Quote
posades Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 OOC: Can we not make this work? Maybe if two of us use a skeleton decoy and I revive Docken so he can take some of the excess damage? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 OoC: If Legonater revives me, you (posades) use a Skeleton Decoy, I take an Aepyornis and K-nut takes a White Rabbit, then the Free Hits would be: (assuming I don't Blind the Aepyornis) Aepyornis A+Volt Ant A (19+7)/2=13 Damage; Skeleton Decoy: 7 HP, Dyric: 5 HP Aepyornis B+Volt Ant B ((19+7)/2)-5=8 Damage; Skeleton Decoy: 0 HP, Xander: 13 HP Aepyornis B+White Rabbit E ((19+17)/2-15=3 Damage; Docken: 40 HP Hungry Bear (21/2)-4=8 Damage; Althior: 20 HP So, yes, that could definitely work, as long as you don't mind using the consumables. The only ones targeting enemies would be K-nut and myself, and we'd have high Health, so I don't think there's any danger there. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 OoC: Actually if we went with that, I'd take the Hungry Bear. Because if I Blinded Aepyornis A, then Xander'd take more Damage, but if I take the Hungry Bear instead, Althior'd take less Damage. (and even if I rolled Special Damage, 21 Damage per Round doesn't get past my shield) Shall we go with that? I think that's the best plan. Quote
K-Nut Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I think the second plan works the best. So do I target Aepyornis then? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 OoC: No, take the White Rabbit. We don't want anyone getting Slowed. (the only reason I was targeting the Aepyornis was because I could Blind it and we needed to cut down on Free Hits) >Dyric Rone uses a Phoenix Essence on Bartholomew Docken >Xander Unth'or uses a Skeleton Decoy >Bartholomew Docken vs. Hungry Bear >Althior Emorith vs. White Rabbit B This is all Out Of Character, of course. posades' Order should coincidentally be the same, but Xander has no idea what I just said. Quote
posades Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Xander suddenly feels an otherworldly voice speaking to him, one that sounds eerily familiar to Docken's; he begins to convey what is being heard inside his head to the party: "With Docken knocked out, I think it is best to bring him and his defense back to the battle as quickly as possible. Dyric, can you revive him? I will use a skeleton decoy from the back row while Docken and Althior can keep the Bear and Rabbit pre-occupied." Battle Order: Dyric Xander Docken Althior Quote
Sandy Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 QM Note: As much as I would like to move this battle forward, I'm hesitant to allow someone's precious consumables be used without their permission. I'll wait to see if The Legonater replies to this a little while longer... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 OoC: Since you're going to wait for Legonater to confirm his action (as opposed to running the Round with him Fleeing), it can't hurt for me to get mine in... I attack the Hungry Bear from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. Quote
