DraikNova Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Thanks! They got me over 8000 points, actually. Quote
horizon Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Hey, son finally got his first Chima sets: a speedorz (Razar) and Crawley's croc thing. While he loves the figures he was somehow dissapointed with the game. Ninjago went of in a first go with maximum playability. Getting the speedorz to work is quite difficult and not easy to master. With this in mind, the higher prize of a speedorz vs a spinner it is not strange speedorz are on sale in a lot of places for spinner prizes. :) Quote
just2good Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 (edited) Polybag availability time! I thought this one would never make it to the US! BKSR told me about that one. Edited June 7, 2013 by just2good Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 This thread has been quiet. Anyway, new commercials: -Sci Quote
krystalKING Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Well, after reading the gorilla striker review, I've come to the conclusion that Skinnet and Furty are neutral, this is emphasized by the fact that they are the only ones in a previously unseen 'gray area'. Just letting everyone know. Quote
Vindicare Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Just got my S@H order and was surprised to see 70113 sitting in the box. That's now the second one I unexpectedly received. I wonder what's the deal...too many in the warehouse or something? Speedorz not selling well, so maybe they're giving out freebies to promote it(unlikely as this is a rather large Speedorz set to just be giving away..)? Quote
305Bats Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I bought the Hulk keychain and a couple of baseplates from the online store and received the free Chima as well. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) I noticed very iteresting thing- the description on battlepack is wrong: Get the competitive edge in the ultimate battle for CHI! It’s easy with the LEGO® Legends of Chima™ Battle Pack featuring 4 minifigures: Longtooth, Crug, Wilhurt and a gorilla with an assortment of weapons. Makes a great gift for fans of the Legends of Chima building sets! When the set contains: Ewar, Lenox, Winzar and Razcal and one chi-staff. Could that mean that we are getting another one battlepack later? Edited June 9, 2013 by Lordofdragonss Quote

Wilhurt is a great figure, and I'm hoping the gorilla isn't Grizzam (?) from the September Speedorz set. Mentioned that a few posts up. -Sci Oh, didn't see that post. Quote

Kalhiki Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Finally got the Lion Attack a couple days ago. Very neat little vehicle. The Lion head on the front is very well done, and the minifigs as always are superb. Kalhiki Quote
kermit Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 I ordered $180 wort in bricks from pick-a-brick from lego shop.com , the springtime scene and one series 10 minifigure and it arrived today with yet another legends of chima starter pack. This will be my second free one that I have gotten. Dont get me wrong I always welcome anything free especially with I get additional lion and wolf (which I dint have since I didnt get the wolf vehicle set) as well as the tree pieces in this starter pack, but lego seem to be really pushing this chima stuff down our throats. Better advertising such as more cartoon episodes would of been better than giving away free sets and expecting the theme to be loved. Quote

Better advertising such as more cartoon episodes would of been better than giving away free sets and expecting the theme to be loved. "More cartoon episodes" is not necessarily at their discretion, though. To broadcast the episodes on major cable networks as they did with Ninjago, TLG probably has to operate according to when those networks choose to air them. TLG could release the episodes for free on their own sites, but that would not get them as much exposure among people who are not already dedicated LEGO fans, and would likely make it difficult to sign contracts for cable broadcasts and home video (DVD/Blu-Ray) releases. Aethersprite Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 LegoJang has a review up as well: Way more bearable than YCF, if you ask me. Quote
CM4Sci Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) Here is the Croc Swamp Hideout: Not bashing on them, but could you stop posting videos and only videos? Especially YCF? Talk, share different people's. -Sci Edited June 14, 2013 by Peppermint_M Don't quote media items! Quote
kermit Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 That croc hideout is very underwhelming. I was expecting more croc minifigures instead of just 3 for a set this size and the croc head looks more like a snake to me when the mouth is closed. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Chadmin. Are you something to do with this "YCF" because all 46 posts are videos for them... I think this needs investigation. Quote
Jargo Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Personally I'd rather see decent photo reviews than videos. Quote
PenPlays Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Agreed, although my "reviews" are mostly just words . Quote
PenPlays Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 *bump* The Chima official site has been updated with Summer sets. No links to S@H. Video section and Instruction Downloads page has been updated as well. Quote
bekindsorewind Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Chadmin. Are you something to do with this "YCF" because all 46 posts are videos for them... I think this needs investigation. I believe he IS YCF. All his posts are relating to advertising his videos. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Oh shame, I hoped that the Croc hideout will have decent interior... Still I love the set and I will get it! Quote
just2good Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 So don't delay, act now, supplies are running out! Eglor's Twin Bike on Toys"R"Us ships to home... and this ain't Kmart! Quote
