btw, I must say again and again, molded heads... bah, they can not be combined with other minifig gear...

also, saved here (2)

here (3) and

here (4)

They don't look moulded to me...

Well, the black one at least doesn't - it looks to use the bat creature headpiece like the one in the Monster Fighers Vampyre Castle. Hard to tell with the grey one.

These remind me a bit of Roboriders. I like what I'm seeing so far.

EDIT

Ok, now I've seen those other pics I see what you mean. Moulded heads seem likely. Still, they're nice heads.

From the first blurry picture my initial thoughts were: this looks like Ninjago + Bionicle?

Then I scrolled down and saw the better resolution images and I don't know what to think. I guess the bat guy's head mold looks kinda cool. I'll be interested in seeing what the actual builds look like besides these little bike spinning things.

They look like helmets, I guess there is hope.

Pretty much obvious it is not a historic theme. Time to move it.

Perhaps some new interesting parts but not a new theme I'll be particularly interested in (had a few sceptical hopes of a new historical theme). Yes this should probably be moved.

Huh. The 'Badger' and 'Tiger' minifigs look kind of cool - I can see all sorts of new character possibilities. At this point I don't find this theme too exciting. But then, aside from some of the snake minifigs, I never found Ninjago exciting, either.

Perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised later on, but I hope not. There's too many other potentially awesome LEGO sets being released towards the tail end of 2012/first part of 2013. I'm already selling things off in preparation, lol.

So far I am not liking what I'm seeing, are those bikes not buildt? looks like its own huge mold/stuff.

Lookign forward to seeing if this theme gets any cool pieces reusable by other themes.

This is being discussed in the theme's thread. Old, ..

Thanks... I feel a merging coming...

I did use the search button but didn't find a specific topic.

The vehicles seem built by a few parts and pretty <insert that tiresome argument> ,but the set package indicates having 442 parts , which is quite contradictory … Or do I get anything wrong from the pictures ?

Wow..um,can't really explain how I feel about this. These pics remind me of Thundercats, I don't know why though and another combination of Guardians Of Ga'Hoole, so basically this theme to me is a combination of Thundercats and Guardians Of Ga'Hoole. The minifigs are odd to say the least, but I like odd, the cords remind me of the Hordika/Visorak storyline in Bionicle, and the bikes are just plain weird....and I thought Ninjago was weird to say the least, but I'll give it a shot.

Oh my, this does look quite a lot like Thundercats! The minifigs look great, and so do their vehicles. I much prefer these over the Ninjago spinners as it seems like it would be fun racing these across the floor, even if you're not into the game that they are intended for. I also like how there are multiple different games/challenges rather than just one. Those vehicle pieces might even be more useful for MOCs than the Ninjago spinners. However, this theme does seem to be very much in the same spirit as Ninjago. That set that is displayed next to the minifig on the back looks a lot like the Skull Truck. There is no doubt kids will be all over this.

Also, looking at those crystals, orbs, and the art on the cards, I think it's safe to assume that the teaser image that appeared earlier was indeed an ad for Legends of Chima.

This sounds like Fabuland on acid.

 Kind of.

Since I missed out on Exo Force (as in, never was interested in it (until now)), I'm hoping for another theme like that.

While I don't think this theme will be anything like Exo Force, I wouldn't be surprised if we see one or two mechs as sets since this is the successor of Ninjago, and that theme had at least two mechs too. Would be great if there were some animal-like mechs a-la Voltron. I could easily see those mechanical animal head pieces on the motorcycles to be used as heads for mechs. Exo Force got close to things like that in its last wave, but didn't quite get there, so I hope to see some real animal mechs in this theme.

Well before everyone totally freaks out about this little set, remember what our first image of ninjago was and the storm that followed. ("Nazi choppers, eh what?!") In all reality, this little peek is probably a terrible representation of what the whole series of sets is about, so I'd be cautious to hate it so early.

I, for one am a little weirded out, but intrigued nonetheless. Manimal figs and mechanical ripcord bikes is hard to process in such a short time.

I think I like it, tho. Weird, yes.... but something's delightfully charming about it.

And remember, the Ninjago we know and love was once just an image of a skeleton nazi on a skull chopper fighting a blue tornado.

Well, that's interesting. I definitely didn't expect rip-cord motorcycles.

The figures are a little... ehh... though I guess you could make them fight the Ninjago snakes or something.

THUNDER!

THUNDER!!

THUNDER CATS HoOOOO!

So cool looking. I love minifigures that look like animals and weird semi-mythical action, this looks to be a cool theme just from the text (In fact, if I was the target age group you can be sure I could be drawing that C on everything, seeing as my initials are CC!) So yeah, hi historical fans... Now you may have come here following Chima care to stick around a while? :sweet:
