Meiko Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Well the name was there the other day because I copied all the tribes listed in the table on that page into a Word doc. I can't imagine how that name was there, since this is the entire history of that template. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Were are all those spieletest pics from??? How do I find them all???? :D Here you are: http://www.spieletest.at/bericht.php?ID=1174 Quote
PenPlays Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 It looks like the Speedorz are present at the show. I wonder why no one has taken pictures of them yet? Quote
DraikNova Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Simple. They´re not that interesting compared to the actual sets. And I think most people think `Bah, what are these crummy little things? They make no sense as vehicles.` Quote
Shakar Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Well, that must be it. I don't care for Speedorz, but they're basically getting the same treatment action figures (HF, Ultrabuilds, etc..) get during Toy Fair. Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I found pics of the Speedorz: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brickjournal/8439478945/in/set-72157632677753378/ Transparent Speedorz! Black Speedorz! These sets look fun! -Sci Quote
PenPlays Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Royal Roost is going to be the Lloyd ZX of this year. It includes... LAGRAVIS!! The Speedorz lineup looks fantastic for the rest of the year (except for Sky Joust and Swamp Jump. Both are underwhelming but their Minifigures are beyond more than worth it. Also we have better pictures of the Combat Lair. Box art for all of the sets are there and they all look excellent! And finally we have pictures for the constraction figures. Biggest disappointment... Croc Chomp (Crug's Speedor) doesn't seem present. That's not that big of a deal though. I now have all I want from the Toy Fairs! Edited February 4, 2013 by Penkid11 Quote
kermit Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) The combat lair is very impressive and 6 minifigures included too. Since i haven`d gotten any chima sets as yet i`ll be getting this combat lair instead of the present wolf tribe vehicle. Edited February 4, 2013 by kermit Quote
Zachattacx Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 ^Inspired much from me (XD,that's just funny). Overall really like both the Speedorz and sets in the summer....Worriz's Combat Lair takes the cake though IMO. Quote
Ninjinxy Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Who is your favorite tribe? Mine is the crocs with ravens second. Quote
PenPlays Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 ^^Beat me to it, Meiko! ^We have a thread for that, Ninjinxy. (Eagles ) Quote
Algernon Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 So are the fox people getting any sets now that we've seen the figs? Quote
Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Thanks for the link to that photostream. The Combat Lair is looking better and better every time I see it! I'm also loving the box art on Gorzan's Gorilla Striker. I never thought I would buy a Speedorz set, but some of the minifigures they are including in them (Lagravis, Furty and Skinnet) make them too good to resist. Bring on Summer 2013! Quote
Lyichir Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 So are the fox people getting any sets now that we've seen the figs? The only sets we've seen with the foxes and skunks are Speedorz sets. Of course, it's possible that those will serve as a "teaser" for next year's sets, which may feature more from those tribes, including larger sets. Quote
Graysmith Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Definitely a big fan of the Eglor's Twin Bike set. Not only does it give get me that Eglor minifigure without having to waste money on a speedor set, but the bike itself looks pretty cool and the wheels seem to rotate to turn it into a jet of sort, if you look at the box art. It also means I can pass on the Razcal Glider set since Razcal is included in this set as well. Win-win! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Guys, I just had to: I did the same with my Signature last night! I'm convinced a Marylander was involved in the Theme. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
DraikNova Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Well, the new Speedorz look awesome. The Whirling Vines look nice enough, just like it's speedorz. The trans one looks nice as well (and I've forgotten it's name ). It's function seems rather complicated. The one with Skinnet looks nice, with it's great small brick-built wolf head and awesomely patterned spinner. The nest dive seems larger than the others and Lagravis' golden Speedorz looks beautiful. And Furty's...is on fire with it's reddish-gold print. The twin (?) bike looks like it's wheels are upsized speedorz wheels with that blue edge. The CHI Temple looks a lot more impressive with it's bridge and everything. The alternate lion speedorz concept looks nice, just like the croc bike. On the Gorilla Mech the silver 1x1 rounds give the impression of a muscled torso. The little tree that comes in the set (I checked) is nice as well. The banana gun is a nice touch. The rounded look makes it very impressive and the azure makes it pop. The Combat Lair looks a lot less impressive, being so...empty at the back. I'm debating whether to get this one. I'll probably pass. I'll need one shot with the copter attached to the main vehicle before deciding though. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I'm definitely getting the fox. Hands down. If I buy nothing else, the fox will win out. Quote
Kalhiki Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Worriz's Combat Lair... ... "Converts into five models" Whaaaat? I'm really wanting to see more of this now. Also, the fact that the Twin Bike converts to a jet is also kinda cool. May get it, but most of my collection is Ravens and Eagles already, so... Kalhiki Quote
Shakar Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 They're sure investing a lot in transforming vehicles this year, between Galaxy Squad and now LoC. Eglor's bike is almost a 100% buy. I guess it's a 20 Euro set. Worriz's Combat Lair is out of my budget and I'm not a big fan of the Wolves, but I admit it looks very cool. Quote

vexorian Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 The Fabuland universe surely got edgier. Quote
PenPlays Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 WAKEY, WAKEY, CHIMA THREAD! Found Winzar's Pack Patrol at the local target!! Now that I have all three of the US polys that were available in the past couple months, I believe it's time to do another mini-review. Quote

Now that I have all three of the US polys that were available in the past couple months, I believe it's time to do another mini-review. Which three were available? I imagine whichever three were available in the US will be available in the UK in the upcoming (according to Brickset) LEGO promotion in the Sun newspaper. Quote
