Bob De Quatre Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Since I finally got some brand new lego in two useless sets, I can finally build some small Starwars MOC Here is an empire starfighter. I only used pieces from the "new" sets I own: 3826, 7915, 7957. I didn't want to use the decals, so the misses on the round bley tiles on the wings. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I really like it! It is sleek, and yet still fits the r-unit in so nicely! Nothing looks out of position, and it does retain an Empire-ish look. Great job! Quote
fierceharbor Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Looks pretty good, but i think is's good to remove or change dark grey parts if it's possible. Quote
Wedge09 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Good MOC It resemble perfectly the Empire style and the astromech dome is a good addition I have a question: it is a bomber, an interceptor or a multi-purpose starfighter?? Quote

It's more a multi-purpose fighter. It's armed with 4 lasers and 4 torpedoes. It can also violently expel the astromech unit to serve as a projectile Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I really like that MOC, its shape makes it look as a real fast vehicle. Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I'll join the chorus and say I like it too ! Does look Imperial eh ? A great fusion of ideas from I would say the Clone Wars....perhaps ? Brick On 'Bob De Quatre' ! Quote
Parrothead Rasmus Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Awesome! Looks like a legit 'Star Wars' ship. Not to crazy, but nice, clean, and sleek. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Gorgeous ship! Very neat realization! This fighter could be named "wasp-fighter" Quote
Ki-Adi-Mundi Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) Ah, you are a fan of the Mandalorians, too. The ship really looks like the Kimoglia Heavy Fighter. Too bad EU vehicles don't sell that well in LSW. Your MOC is a nice iteration of the named ship. At least the resemblance is pretty close. Edited August 17, 2012 by Ki-Adi-Mundi Quote

Jedd the Jedi Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I like that it looks like it is somewhat descended from the ARC-170, like a dark/villainous version of that ship. Quote
Daiman Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 A nice job on this build and good to see some activity in the Star Wars forum. Quote
Mr Man Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 It looks like the Imperial successor to the ARC Fighter . I does look like something from the Films. Quote
Dapper-D2 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 You’re on a roll Bob, another wicked sweet creation! Quote
Darth Dino Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Hi if you are asking for the name.. It wings looks very close to the klingon "Bird of Prey" Class ships from Star Trek ;) Dino Quote
Super Brick Collector Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I'm liking this moc. How many figs fit in it? Quote
