Hugely impressive. There's a ton of creativity going on here. I also very much like the landscaping you've done here and there. Looks like a real city!

That is one really beautiful town you got there. I'm just pea-green with envy.

Love all the details you got in, and all those builds - wow!

I imagine myself never beeing able to stop looking at it from all angles if i had the oppotunity. Great work!

It's massive, but never seems to lose that minifig scale touch. There's detail everywhere and it looks fantastic!

Applauso!

Thank you for sharing it with us!

I am really impressed - it has the feel of a classic european city where old meets new, and where small alleys share the space with broad avenues. Very well build. (Plus, that cathedral... :O)

Today i was Lucky that i was able to make a deal for our three oldest modulars.... but when is see this.. uhm.... okay.. there is a long way to go for me....haha.. Really great... i also like the way you present your pictures... !! Simply Wonderfull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I concur with many here. Very impressive. A lot of great details and structures throughout. I love how Nick Fury is cruisin' a long like a BAMF.

I do love the buildings. The church actually fits really well with the surrounding area. I was hesitant about adding one, but yours is very fitting. I was never used to it until I moved to the city I live in now, but now I can understand how/why they would be incorporated into a city layout.

I really like the 4th picture from the bottom. The corner building. Was that entered into the Modular Madness contest last August? It looks very familiar. I really like how it looks. I was recently building a new corner modular and it was going to have a similar layout to that. I must have been inspired sub-consciously by that build. I may have to rethink how I do mine so it doesn't look too similar. Granted, the colors and design of the building will be different overall.

Either way, great builds. I love seeing it all together. I need to get to working on mine now instead of putting everything off.

This is spectacular! Wonderful mix of official buildings with your amazing MOCs and the detail is stunning. I particularly like the canal a f the park but the whole layout is truly a sight to behold! Congratulations!!!

I look forward to seeing future updates!

Happy building!!

There's a tremendous amount to love here, but the presentation is my favorite. Thank you for taking the time to compose these lovely perspective shots from the minifigures' point of view - these photos really "sell" the layout.

The park in front of the town hall has to be my favorite part. Everything else is just...wow I have no words. It really does look like a living breathing city.

This is exactly what I'd like to build over time, with my own MOCs that is. The alleys and realistic placement of the buildings makes it all so real. There are some great MOCs between the modulars, yet they have a different style. I find myself building in the same way most of the time and you've found a solution to that. The masterpiece for me is the red bulding with the round bay window, like TheLegoDr said: the one from the modular building contest? At first the lay-out was just big, but now it is realistic with even more beautiful buildings. While I didn't like most MOCs in the begininng, I do like the newer MOCs, but the Pet Shop MOD seems to big. Anyhow, great city with fantastic details with some greenery and nice landscaping!

I'd like to know what your future plans are concerning MOCs, modulars and landscaping. How much do you want/ intend to expend this city? And the last question is: what's the amount of money that you spend on Lego every month or so?

Thanx for your comments

I don't know the way to go : historic side with a casttle, modern side, ... above or.... under the town. (or build in other theme).

For the amount of money, I stop to smoke in 2009, and my budget is the same = 1500 € / 2000 € year (it was a deal with my wife)

Well everybody, if you stop smoking (for the ones who smoke) you now know what the result might be.

And that's a large budget, mine is roughly enough for €450,-. That budget certainly allows you to build an even more beautiful city.
