"The Carver is a tilting three-wheeled vehicle using an automatic balancing technology to balance the passenger compartment under all conditions. The Carver vehicle combines aspects of a motorcycle and a car, both in appearance and design and was produced by Carver Europe in the Netherlands.

Vmln8 a builder from New Zeland made a nice LEGO version with Technic parts, months ago, quite successfully as you can see from his video below."

"Look at the solution used to implement the steering and dynamic cornering behavior for this kind of motorcycle. In fact a car/motorcycle hybrid.

You can find further pictures at Vmln8's flickr account and even building instructions from Rebrickable."

I quite like this zippy little car - it's fast! Too bad I don't have the parts to build it. k_sad.gif

Want!!! Leuk ding hoor!

Zou TLC eens moeten proberen met de bijbehorende PF elementen..

Denk dat je dan voor een eurootje of 60 een leuke instap PF set hebt?

For past discussion about VMLN8R's Carver MOC, see this Eurobricks topic.

There are some details visible in VMLN8R's 4-image Flickr photoset:

Wikipedia says that "The first commercial Carver product, the Carver One, was designed to seat two people, and manufactured and distributed by Carver Europe (formerly named Vandenbrink) in the Netherlands. In June 2009 however the company reportedly declared bankruptcy, and ceased commercial production and sales":

There are also LDD instructions available from a link in the same Flickr set or from the author's Brickshelf folder!

That's right. You can also click on the link in the youtube video.

That'll get you there too... Lookt not too complicated to build, so we'll have a go later on.

I'll probably do a red version because of the lack of panels :)
