xtremegoogler Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Just saw this at http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=850425-1 Anyone else thinks this set is really cool? Think I'm gonna grab a couple when this is out (no release date yet), just like with the calendar, for the printed pieces. Quote
Darkdragon Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Oh my. That is so cool. Finally letter tiles again!!!! Quote
andhe Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Oh my. That is so cool. Finally letter tiles again!!!! That printed (I assumming) Lego logo tile is also quite sought after. Especially if you're trying to piece together your own mini lego store (the store opening giveaway). Does it contain two minifigs? (The box art seems to suggest two of the same torsos with a male and female head). Quote
tafkatb Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I saw this turn up on Bricklink a few days ago when I was looking for letter tiles; I'm guessing it'll be out on September 1st. I'll definitely pick this up when I go get a few Series 8 Minifigures. Letter and number tiles and a printed LEGO logo 2x2 - I bet a lot of AFOLs are going to be wanting this! Especially if you're trying to piece together your own mini lego store (the store opening giveaway). My plan exactly! Quote
xtremegoogler Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) Does it contain two minifigs? (The box art seems to suggest two of the same torsos with a male and female head). Dutch webshop Brickshop already lists it, says it contains two minifigs. Bricklink already has the inventory (pending approval): Catalog Gear 850425 Some internet-related tiles, as well. purpleparadox Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 This looks like an awesome (and trés useful) set! I'll have to order one from S@H! Quote
Legobrandon Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Already on sale on eBay for a hefty price including shipping. But it also includes a very cool brick-built pencil holder: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170898751415&clk_rvr_id=378515753696&item=170898751415&lgeo=1&vectorid=229529#ht_500wt_1180 Quote

It's already available there. Edited August 22, 2012 by xtremegoogler Quote
AncientDayz Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I definitely have my eyes on these for my desk - especially the pencil holder. Quote
tafkatb Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Does the pencil holder actually include those pencils as well? Quote

Cutty Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 As I do not own any lettered tiles, this will be something I'll keep watching for! Nice find! Be well! Cutty Quote
Calv Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) I picked up 1 of these sets in Manchester today, UK price is £11.99. The letter tiles should be useful for Modular storefronts etc. Edited August 25, 2012 by Calv Quote
Writers Blocks Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Looks like I'd need to buy four of these to make a Scrabble game. Actually, that would make me short an I. Five! Edited September 18, 2012 by Writers Blocks Quote
KyleJohnson11 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Best set ever to make a scoreboard! Quote
dr_spock Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Looks good to make a Lego Boogle game. Gotta get some... Quote
Multiverse Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Ordered two from S@H. Can't wait for them to arrive! =D Quote
TheRedGuy Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I need to get some letters on tiles, and this'll be a good way to get some. Quote
legomaniac83 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I need to get some letters on tiles, and this'll be a good way to get some. I picked up 3 of 4677 Name Letter Pack years ago - it was a great source for letters. No numbers, however. Might get this just because of the numbers in it. Quote
Darkdragon Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Really could have used those number tiles for my first calendar. Quote
