Legit to me.

IMHO: 1 out of 16 revealed.

It looks really legit! When he first messaged me a week ago I really thought it was fake, but he pulled it through! Looks great!

And this would solve the "dr.splitz" problem, IMHO.

IMHO: 2 out of 16 revealed.

So, my guess is that would be Dr. Splitz? What a pity we've seen that and the Alien trooper, and not some of my favorites, but if LEGO did such a good job (I really think the Alien is much better than any of the others) on these two, I think this should be a great series! And by the looks of it, another chance to get a vial!

Seems that the rumours are coming true, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde being Dr. Splitz as some of you speculated. Very cool. Can I see the Heroic Knight already? I'm betting on a white visor helmet and white breastplate myself. That would be nicely different than any other Lego knight before.

Very cool! The Alien Trooper and "Dr. Splitz" both look fantastic to me, and more importantly, this means that list is real which is just plain awesome! So many (if not all) sound interesting to me.

Still need to know where the kid got the alien from if it was from his friend his friend needs to get MORE!! I really want to know where he got that from!! Dr Spitz is well done very good job LEGO!

Unlike the majority it seems, I'm really liking the looks of the Alien Trooper. He looks like a great counterpart to Galaxy Patrol. It actually reminds me a bit of the Locust from Gears of War.

Nice to see that TLG continues the Classic Monsters, Dr. Jekyll looks great, now show us the Cyclop. And hopefull we see the Phantom (of the Opera) and my most wanted, a Medusa in the next line!

Thanks! All in all it looks like an interesting list. I am most looking forward to the Caesar and Maid MArion minifigs. The knight, judge and fortune teller could also be nice. But a man, a Caesar that's :wub_drool:

So, that Dr Jekyll - Mr Hyde figure seems to confirm that the rumored list might be true. At least if it is the so called Dr Splitz. After all this was the one that made me doubt the most since it seemed to refer to a licensed character.

Another nice complement to the CMF classic monsters subtheme.

But I am not yet convinced by the looks of the Alien Trooper though. Somehow it gives me the feeling it doesnt belong in the CMF line... I dont know why.. maybe the printing is to elaborate? Or maybe just because I was hoping, contrary to many others, that the trooper would be another AC spin-off...

Anyway, if the list realy turns out to be true, then it seems that I scored 8 hits in the series 8 guessing game a couple of moths ago.. ok, spread out over 2 series, but still... not bad I think.. not bad at all :-)

The "Horror" side of the CMFs has always been one of my favourite aspects of the line but I was disappointed how after wave 4 we didn't REALLY get any horror based figs (at best I felt the ones we got fitted in with more fantasy/fairy tale/mythology, i.e. Minotaur and Sea King). I'm glad they seem to be picking up again with the vampire bat in Wave 8 and "Dr Splitz" in Wave 9 who looks like he could be one of my favourite "Horror Figs" to date based off the limited art we've seen so far!

Can't wait to see the rest of this wave.

I would classify Dr. Splitz more as a horrifyed fig than a horror fig - by the looks of it, he was the unsuspecting victim of a laboratory experiment. . .

See, Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde there, that's proof. An official Lego picture. Same style as the series 8 pirate first reveal. I'm not overly impressed but there's always certain minifigures I'm not keen on. The Alien trooper? I'm still not convinced. I suppose the character backstory could say the alien stole Galactic patrol armour to explain why he has it. That would be weak storytelling though. There again the backstories on series 8 were quite weak and thin. I shall say no more. I'm in danger of sounding like a negative nancy. and spoiling people's fun so I'll shut up and wait for an official reveal of the series.

I agree, there is something wierd about the same armor, but I don't see how anyone could fake it easially, especially with the gold marking on the side. I'm thinking the alien is real.
