domino39 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Hello, Here is the mini haunted house copied to Set Monster Fighters 10228 Quote
TheLegoDr Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Very clever build! I love seeing miniature versions of official sets. So much in fact that I planned on doing something similar, only with different sets. But I can clearly see the resemblance with the larger house. Way to go! Keep up the good work. I may have to try something similar. Quote
onebrick@atime Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 (edited) Hello, Here is the mini haunted house copied to Set Monster Fighters 10228 Great job! I love how you use the tech pieces for the post. Edited August 28, 2012 by Ricecracker Please don't quote images Quote
Andy D Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Very nice build. Very clever use of parts. To me, it looks just like the larger model. Andy D Quote
Crackerjack Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Love it. Did you make instructions for it Quote
twenty6twelve Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Fantastic model. Love the variety of connections using the tiles and clip plates to mimic the boarded windows and the blending of grays. Models like these really make me question my choice of scale Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Great mini design 'domino39', but doesn't this live in the action forum with the rest of the Monster Fighters MOC's ? Brick On 'domino39' ! Quote
prateek Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 This is really nice. I would definitely consider buying this if it were a real set. I like the clever building techniques you've used to come up with the details like the shutters and the pillars Quote
TheMagician Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Incredible work! Great use of parts - looks just like the original! Quote
Lego Amaryl Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Awesome miniature of the real set! Many interesting techniques... most of them are "illegal", so if TLG released an official miniature of the set it would be very different! Quote
legotrader Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Great job. Looking forward to the real one for sure Quote
Redhead1982 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 This is a really nice model of the haunted house. And not as scary. My favourite are the ghosts outside. Congratulations for capturing a set that hasn't been released yet so nicely. Well done! Quote
moctown Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Oh, oh 'domino39', you stole my idea! No, I'm joking But I got the same idea and a similar project under construction. You captured the up coming Set 10228 pretty well with your mini version and the richness of detail is noticeable. Maybe it's a little bit overloaded at this small scale, but that's only my taste and I like it though - well done! Quote
lego-maniac Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 very nice Dom', pics are better here ;) Seiously, you've really make a great moc, to bad you do not enter in the modular madness with such a beauty Quote
Dick-Trom Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Great visuals! I can't wait 'till i get the original set! Quote
Ferrik Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 A great mini-version of the Monster Fighters Huanted House. I like seeing how you used different pieces to replicate bigger pieces in the actual set. Quote
korpen4444 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Very nice MOC.Keep up the good work. Quote
