DLuders Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Over on TechnicBRICKS, Conchas (Fernando Correia) wrote this article about the 1H2013 Lego Technic sets. Quote
Zerobricks Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Never seen an articulated backhoe before. This year is not very impressive IMO, with exception of the dirtbike and F1 car. Quote
Meatman Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Finally some pictures. I like the 42006 and of course the Formula One car. The motorcycle looks a bit like the lime green dirt bike that came out a few years ago. Not caring a whole lot about the pull back race cars though. Quote
AndroTech Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I also see new 2x5 blue panel in 42010 set. Quote
Pat-Ard Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Is see those panels on the F1 racer and the dirt bike, too. They look like 2x5... Oh, I need alot of those dirt bikes... I love orange panels. Pat Quote
AndroTech Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Never seen an articulated backhoe before. If you Google articulated backhoe, you'll see, that actually there are few. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) I am not a fan of the hander b models fork attachment design. Edited October 19, 2012 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
Pat-Ard Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Alasdair: you're right the b is a little bit disappointing... And it's sad that the scale won't fit the 8043... Quote
z3_2drive Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 interesting- I think 2013's pretty cool, and the f1 b model reminds me of the silver champion b-model, another race truck with independent suspension I like the new hubs because they can be used with liftarms instead of wishbones(you can see them in the truck) Quote
Pedro Antunes Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Other than the F1 all the remaining sets dont appeal to me at all... not complex enough and no sign of PF. They sure look appeling to kids with the pullback motion, which I think puts Lego down a level (the pullback thing). Quote
Meatman Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I wonder what the B model for the F1 car will be? Quote
timslegos Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 , that is not a very attractive looking truck. What was Lego thinking? tim Quote
rener Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 , that is not a very attractive looking truck. What was Lego thinking? tim IMHO it looks more dangerous than 9398's alternative truck... Quote
DLuders Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) That B-Model picture that JunkstyleGio posted looks like some racing semi trucks: Edited October 19, 2012 by DLuders Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 , that is not a very attractive looking truck. What was Lego thinking? tim I would agree it does not look very vell thought out. Mind you thay need to leave room for improvment for Efferman to work his magic... Quote
Saberwing40k Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Would someone care to explain to me how cypr21 got the little backhoe already? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=515036 Quote
Anio Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Would someone care to explain to me how cypr21 got the little backhoe already? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=515036 That's a mystery. But it is the beauty of it. :D Btw, review : http://www.setechnic.com/Forum/topic6870.html Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) And Google translates ( a bit dodgie) for those who are not able to speak or read French.. http://translate.goo...70.html&act=url Edited October 20, 2012 by JunkstyleGio Quote
lazylegoist Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 , that is not a very attractive looking truck. What was Lego thinking? I rather like it, except for the color coordination, but that's hard to do for a b-model of a multicolored set. Quote
allanp Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I don't normally pay too much attention to the b-model but I like the truck for some reason. Quote
Zerobricks Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I don't normally pay too much attention to the b-model but I like the truck for some reason. Me too, its awesome! Quote
efferman Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) i think the B model of the silverchampion looks much better Mind you thay need to leave room for improvment for Efferman to work his magic... improving a B model? why not? Edited October 20, 2012 by efferman Quote
