QM Note: Alright, I will fix it so that Shaun will flee once Sycamore is defeated. She's the one forcing Shaun to fight, after all. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) Cool, thanks. "An Archdemon, ey? Never killed one of those before. This should be good." Guts throws his Throwing Knife at Mephisto, then attacks Revenant Nobility with Fafnir. Edited October 25, 2012 by Scubacarrot Quote
Sandy Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 QM Note: One more thing: I did not give you those Phoenix Incenses for no reason! Quote
JimBee Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 *flashback* "Our... master commanded that! See here, this guy." Guts pats on Hybros's back. "He is our grand master, we are just his acolytes. Doesn't he uhh, look delightfully evil? Zoot rules, and all that!" "Eheh..." he muttered weakly, shifting his eyes to the ground. Zoot... he didn't think he would encounter the 'god' again for a very long time, but it seemed that his followers were everywhere. There was no escaping it. He glanced at the scythe he held in his hands. The feeling that someone or something was watching him when he first created the weapon suddenly returned. An urge swept over him. It took every ounce of strength and will to hold back from slicing the undead Ziegfried's head clean off. Or was Guts the Reaper's target? This was what he was trained for, after all. Not negotiating for safe passage to find a human child. He grimaced beneath his kerchief and followed the party inside the ruined city of Mercution. "My patience is running thin. Now prove that you are true followers of Zoot and join us. You must willingly give up your lives so that the conversion is successful. If you resist or hesitate, I cannot guarantee that you will be resurrected with everything... intact." The ability to live forever was tempting. To be able to find his people without having to worry about time or death... yet in over fifty years on the surface he hadn't seen head nor tail of his kind. And then there was Zoot's Reaper, whispering to him inside his head. "Kill... kill... kill..." Kill who? It seemed to be urging him towards the undead army, but why? They were followers of Zoot himself. Why would the god want to slay his own people? Without any time to contemplate this, Hybros charged into battle. "Feel the true wrath of the Forsaken One!" He shouted, swinging Zoot's Reaper at Sybaris and the Spectre from the front row. Quote
Chromeknight Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 The temple was not deserted at all. The intimidated Sküld takes Nerwen by the hand. "Umm, Miss Nerwen? What's an 'undead'?" Holding Sküld's hand Nerwen quietly answers. Undead is a word for something that used to be alive but now is moved about by magic. Sometimes it's an magician who does that, sometimes a demon. Good question! I had to work out an answer that a 7 year old girl would understand, and still cover (almost) every case. "Helvetia?" Sküld whispers in terror. "The Nôrns worship the same goddess as her?" Yes, but there are many aspects to Helvetia, and death is not to be feared. But fear the one who tortures those who should be at peace. More figures appeared from the surrounding shadows, lurching, limping, drawling, hovering... An unholy alliance of the undead and the demonkin arrived at the steps of the Forsaken Temple. Suddenly a small boy dashed in between the heroes and the Undying. "Dooo nooth huuurt my frieeendh!" the boy howled. "Shaun! There you are!" "Sküüülddh! Gooo awaaayy! Daaangeroushh hheeere!" "But I came to find you! Come with us." "Iii caaan'tth. Muuustth obeeeyy..." The zombie boy and the nôrn girl stared at each other. Then Sküld turned to the party in despair, with tears in her eyes. "Please, you must do something! Help me get Shaun out of here!" Guts quickly turns to Nerwen, and asks: "Is there anything you can do for the boy? You better think up something quick, it'll get hairy in here." There is nothing I can do here. This place is ground set aside for Zoot. My connection to Galadrya and Celebryon is tenuous. Shaun is controlled by the necromancer, to help him we must defeat her. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! Nerwen looked over the enemies. Even with so many, the heroes still outnumbered them, they could still protect Sküld. But such a range too! And demons and undead working together. Memories of Belril's rampage across the forests of her home rose. She forced them back and concentrated on the task at hand. They would need to act carefully to win this battle. When choosing your targets, remember, you can only hurt undead with an elemental weapon or spell! Do not target the rod the demon is holding. It cannot hurt us and if you mistime your swing you could be vaporised. If you have not taken potions, it is too late, unless you want to use smelling salts. Do not hurt shaun! We may yet be able to help him. Battle order to come when I'm back from work (9hrs) and some people have entered actions Handy guide to enemies Yes this is OOC, but I wanted to make sure everyone read this Mephisto: Demon/Icy. Tanma Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 IC: De'kra stared in mild shock as things escalated, before getting ready to fight. The echo moved to the back row, and stared to attack the Lich with Chiara. OOC. Does anyone know how to change the colors of texts, as I no longer have that option. The only reason I can still bold is because I know the code for it. But if I can't do colored text, then I can't really do much with De'kra and I can't post as often. So any suggestions? Quote

Nerwen speaks in FFA500 (ie, FF red, A5 gree and 00 blue, which is a pleasant orangy colour) 808080 is a nice OOC grey. Sküld Arc-heal someone, your call Darkdragon Sorry Thalion! I did not mean to forget you. Erik, if you attack last and trigger a flurry, the extra hits cycle around to the top of the order. I've moved you up the order so the blows will land on heroes who can take them if you are unlucky. Alexander, your attack cannot hurt the skeleton! Maybe you should throw one of your potions at it? Sküld and I will keep you standing! Also, Alexander, we cannot use bombs effectively whilst the demon carries that staff. We have to do this one on one. Benji use those fiery demonic scissors of yours on that icy archdemon! William, Sarick. Can you target the Skeleton Knight and Mage between you? Sir Daggerfall, can you watch over Sküld this round? Have I missed anyone/anything? Quote
