IC: De'kra flinched as alien voices surrounded him. They were strange and twisted, quite different from the voices that normally spoke to him. It was odd hw silent they were as well, he could only wonder as to why.

Asthe voices left him, De'kra grabbed Chiara, and leapt at the Lich from the front row.

Namyrra, Tell Sküld to heal one of us, if the Ravager falls before she gets to it, she could end up healing the demon!

Seeing his minions fall one by one, the archdemon decides to retaliate by gluttonously devouring Namyrra and William. Horrified by the sudden loss of two of their allies, the heroes strike back with ferocious power. Mephisto loses most of his health, and the Lich and the Lichen Ravager are felled as well. Only the stout Skeleton Knight stands by the icy demon anymore. Christopher shields the party from any loss of health with his Sentinel-stance, but the effect is only temporary.

Two enemies are left standing against sixteen heroes. Who knows where Namyrra and William had ended up in, or whether they could ever be rediscovered...

Guts smirked as his throwing knife hurt the Demon, he knew it was a good idea to always carried a blessed weapon around. But he watched in horror as two of the heroes were just picked up and swallowed.

"Ehhh, let's hope they are alive. Keep at them, people! All on the Demon, my weapons won't hurt it."

Guts attacks the Skeleton Knight with Lifestealer, if he is dead on the second turn, Guts picks up his throwing knife, otherwise he attacks it again.

Chirs hefted his sword and shouted "Come on, lets kill this abomination and get our freinds back." as he moved torward Mephesto for one final attack.

Hybros continued his assault on Mephisto, hopefully for the last time. After this, he would be thankful for not encountering anymore hero-eating archdemons.

Benji continues his attack on Mephisto. "Lets end this and find Namyrra and Chris! I hope they will not be lost from us."

After the initial excitement for hurting such a powerful enemy, Thalion's expression changed to worried after seeing the the demon devour Namyrra and William. Hoping they are still well and that they can be rescued by slaying the demon, he began to concentrate for his next spell, hopefully the last one in this battle. "Hang in there friends..." he thought to himself, closed his eyes and began muttering the spell's incantation.

Dreyrugr watched as people were eaten by Mephisto and felt a shivver run down his spine. While he had survived many situations which would have killed an ordinary person and even vampire, Dreyrugr was unsure how being swallowed would turn out so he stays in the back row doing nothing so he can avoid attention.

IC: De'kra watched in horror as two years were engulfed by the archdemon. Odds were that they were dead, completely absorbed into the demon's body. He'd seen it before, though the circumstances differed. "No one else die," he ordered, before readying for an attack. Gripping Kapura, he swung his blade at the Skeleton Knight from the back row.

After seeing the fate of the two fellow heroes, devoured by Mephisto, Alexander prefer to stay in the back row and protect Skuld. He think that he isn't ready to be eaten.

Although varying in the terms of honour and regard that Thothwick held for them, he knew all of his colleagues in Heroica were of sound fighting and tactical abilities. The thought that there were foes capable of taking on an onslaught from over ten heroes at once, and defeat two - let alone swallow them whole! - in one fell swoop, terrified him. It's not just the Blutos and Skülds of this world that were vulnerable. Their protectors were two. Aghast, Thothwick retreated to the back row, intending to protect Sküld.
