Benji returns to the rest of the group with a bleeding nose and an angry expression. Apparently things did not go as he had planned.

Noticing that many of the party members were surprised at Benji's change of mind, Benji decides to explain what happened while he was gone: "I ran away after Violetta. Yes, I found her. I found her and a band of wolfgang companions who wanted to kill me first and ask questions later. Apparently she remembered that in that quest so long ago... when we captured her... I was the only hero who wanted to turn her in, rather than return her to the Wolfgang! I didn't think that she would remember. She wouldn't even talk to me, but instead gave me the choice to fight or flee. Of course I'm no match for Violetta plus four other warriors, so I fled. So I'm planning on sticking with the group now, in case that Violetta happens to show up again. I'll be protecting the Bonapartes, the only reason why I didn't want to at first was because I thought I might have a chance to make a good impression with the Wolfgang, but it seems now that this isn't the case."

When Namyrra calls her name to lead a small party of heroes, Cinna trembles slightly. She looks at the fresh faces in her party. The young heroes are eager to fight, but they have no idea what loss is. Flashes of Bluto getting attacked by giant crabs wrack her brain, her vision narrows to a bright circle of light surrounded by blackness, and the sounds of the battle become quiet and far off.

Suddenly, from off to the side, Hybros calls out that he will attack. Cinna looks over at him, and he nods. Though she doesn't know the imp well, she knows of his deeds and his strength gives her the courage to lead the party. Her vision clears and she calls out to her team with calm determination.

"Here we go guys, pay attention to your own power and don't try to take someone on that is too powerful for you. We work as a team, we will protect the Bonapartes and then we will find out what is really going on here. Namyrra, the Western team is ready!"
