Can I also point out that that picture shows they swapped the heads on the Scout and Swordsman . It would be a lot more desirable if it came with a Warrior, there are three ways to get a Scout and Swordsman but only two Warriors.

Just wondering... Are the figures in this battlepack Chinese plastic?

I inspected the battlepack closely when I was a in a LEGO sore recently, and I think I noticed the little moulding marks on the hands that are one of the signs of coming from the Chinese factory.

Cole's Earth Driller is a surprise set. It's longer than what the box lets on and can easily be modded to fit two (maybe even three) in the cockpit. The Swordsman in the set gets a katana and a spare (it should wield them both) and Cole is shoulder-armor-less and looks nice in his Kimono. The Earth Blade is also nifty and has a very nice green color to it (unlike the show where its more or less a color spectrum which would have been interesting to see in as an actual piece). The Driller sports the Power Miners' Thunder Driller function of having a drill that spins in two directions. One thing that is sad, however, is its very empty back with the random trans-orange 2x2 cylinder... or is it? Fold up the Fire Robot and you have official show cannon. The Fire Robot (by moving its thruster down) can latch onto the back of the Earth Driller and will remain there with a relative amount of pushing the Driller around. I will probably post a picture of the combo soon. Also, with out messing with the technic sliders, the back wheels will easily slide along the axle they are on. Luckily the set is equipped for such and if one can slide the red blockers against the wheels so that they don't slide out from the golden hubcaps. The set comes with a smaller yellow Technic slider/blocker thingy (I'm not good with Technic piece names) that can be put within the drill that also suffers from the sliding problem. You should have a much more play-friendly driller after that. If you are confused I'll get pics taken to show you all.

9/10 Certainly function filled, but come on. This seriously could have been bigger to fit at least all five Ninja in it.

I´ve been drawing out some plans for a sort of giant Ninjago Dojo, featuring individual mechs for the elemental ninja. Just wondering, could someone please post a comparison of the show version of the elemental earth sword with the `real` one?

Easy, buy Temple of Light, Draiknova. It is worth it's price, very much more than the Epic Dragon Battle.

I never said it wasn't easy. I'm probably going to buy them all so I've got two of each sword, as a matter of fact.

I'm probably going to get the warrior bike at some point, so I may review that. :classic:

My good friend, if you can find that set, I will applaud you. I've never known Lego sets to be invisible but this set is proof. It is the last boxed set I need from the 2013 wave besides the Battle Pack, and the last time I saw it was before January!

I saw the Warrior Bike just last week at a Barnes & Noble. Frankly I was a little disappointed, because the set I was really looking for was Kai's Fire Mech, and it seems to be gone from all the stores I had seen it at.

In general, it makes sense that both sets would tend to disappear quickly, since they're the smallest sets of the wave and smaller sets generally sell better as far as overall sales volume is concerned (since more people can afford them and justify the purchase to themselves).

Well, I'm not going to be able to get any Ninjago tell, lets see, probably Macrh10th, or around there, so I hope they are still selling on Lego.com by then.

If not, I guess I'll probably have to get them from Bricklink or somewhere. :sceptic: Well, I might just get them there anyways if it is cheaper, but I doubt it will be cheaper if they aren't on Lego.com.

Luckily for me, what with all the attention Chima is getting (well, a display case and a screen showing the mini-clips is more than nothing), Ninjago isn't anywhere near sold out here. Either that or they're just restocking quickly.

Here's a picture of the battle pack from Brickset:

My opinion: Worst. Battle Pack. Ever. Only four minifigs, half of which are named characters who already appear in booster packs and one of which also comes in another cheap set. What would you want with an army of Jays and Zanes?!? :ugh: If this was exclusively a stone warrior battle pack, it would have been pretty good, and if it had Kai and Cole instead of the other two, it still might have been of use to some people, but as it is, it's pretty useless. Oh well, at least it's still better than the POTC battle pack which was just the figs from 4191 plus two other unimportant ones.

I'm trying to create micro-scale depictions of important scenes in Ninjago. I've already got:

Final Battle

The Battle with the Devourer

The Dojo

The Ninja (and Lloyd) learning Spinjitzu

The Awakening of the Devourer

Any more ideas?

I might decide to do the Celestial Clock if I can figure out how to do it justice. The scene where Garmadon steps into the portal might also work, as could the one where Lloyd becomes the Green Ninja.
