lightningtiger Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Oh, okay..... Now back on topic.....has anyone noticed that the bike shop has no walls at all just the window frontage and central ceiling support pillar ? Quote
LegoSjaak Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Lightningtiger, it is not thát weird to have a building that only has windows as support.. here a picture of the office i'm working.. the outside is glass, On the inside there are a few pillars..... Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I didn't mean it that way.....we are use to the normal open back city/town sets....one rear opening not two openings. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Getting back to the Coast Guard and Parcel sub themes.... Does anyone have a release date for these? We've got to be getting close soon, right? Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I believe after July.....which means for us Aussie's - the Kmart Mid-year Toy Sale ! (they get the first bite of the second half releases for city). Quote
The Lego Nolan Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Is the bulletproof vest the same as commissioner Gordon one? http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ it looks very much like it great sets Quote

GRogall Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 More HR City Images! this time the Coast Guard stuff......... All pics link to HR images! 60013 Coast Guard Helicopter 60014 Coast Guard Patrol Enjoy! Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Thanks again 'GRogall' for those images......I like the big copter, though it's smaller than the 2008 one but has the same winch system. Quote
jonwil Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Have we seen any HR pictures of the cargo helicopter or the cargo plane yet? Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I love the new coast guard sets but, man were getting a lot of sharks... Three in one set alone?? Is that necessary? Good thing is the sets are also flush with minifigs Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Is that necessary ?.....well the sharks would say yes ! It seems only TRU US has the coast guard sets.....fingers crossed for the mid-year toy sale in Oz now. Quote
Galaxy Explorer Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 It's a feeding frenzy! I love it! I just wish they included a Great White Shark with the patrol set, since I'm not too interested in the big helicopter. Quote
Ajax Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 It's a feeding frenzy! I love it! I just wish they included a Great White Shark with the patrol set, since I'm not too interested in the big helicopter. Im lucky the coptor is the only set I want so I get the white shark, I think the old 2008 coast guard ship is better and I only just recently bought that. Would love to see a crane like this in any 2013 City-set.... Hahaha, me too. Lego need a few new animals. I like the new dog and seagull in the mini fig collection. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Coast Guard sets would be haundreds times better if they included the seagulls :) Quote
cei Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Is that lower white curved piece on the lighthouse new? I've only seen those a single brick high, not four. This is the known piece: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3063 Quote
timmyc1983 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Would love to see a crane like this in any 2013 City-set.... BAHAHAHA, i actually laughed out loud at that... And i concur, that would be awesome, because it would no doubt be part of a zoo, which is long overdue in LEGO City Quote

just2good Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 (edited) I got my hands on the smallest Summer 2013 City set, so here's a video review of the Surfer Rescue! And... Edited May 1, 2013 by just2good Quote

lightningtiger Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 You can read a first review fo the Town Square at HispaBrick Magazine website http://www.hispabric...026-town-square Thanks for sharing the link 'lluisgib', interesting to see the design positives and odd negatives in the set.....especially for those gaps on the bus ? (nothing a few 1x1 square plates won't solve eh ? ) I'm still wanting to buy this set when it comes out....fingers crossed mid-year toy sale (foot-note.....Kmart Aust. have told me it will NOT be them carrying it) Quote
nesquik Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Getting back to the Coast Guard and Parcel sub themes.... Does anyone have a release date for these? We've got to be getting close soon, right? 1st June is the official date. Quote
Aanchir Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 That piece is a few years old, the wind turbine transport had them for the mast for the turbine. I'd say it's more than just a few bricks old — the four-brick high variant, 6259, has been around since my childhood! The Wind Turbine Transport had the newer five-brick-high variant, 85941, which has a larger cutout in the center. Quote
just2good Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 You can read a first review fo the Town Square at HispaBrick Magazine website http://www.hispabric...026-town-square Thanks for posting the review! I'm a bit disappointed with the interiors of the shops, but it's nothing less of what I expected. The set is a must buy for me, still! Quote
