In your group shot Kliq, Billy Starbeam looks like he's riding a space version of a Rascal mobility scooter into battle. Poor Billy.

Those Insectoid vehicles look a lot better grouped together. They make sense and don't look so odd.

Impressive! Amazing how one normally wouldn't even see red team unless they were looking for the poor fellows. :hmpf_bad:

Could you do a compraison shot with the Warp Stinger and one of your Vermin Vaporizers?

Indeed. You can't help but laugh and feel pity for poor Billy at the same time. Seeing that grow shot makes me feel really bad for him.

Yeah, seriously. I'm thinking about using him as a 'go to guy' communicating between units behind the front line. "Billy, will you go get the Vaporizer pilots some coffee, please?"

Very true, they make a nice 'horde'.

Awesome early collection Kliq, and thank you for the pictures!

It's great how everything is generic enough to buy multiples of like you have :sweet:

I was just thinking about that earlier. How many police stations do you need vs. how many star ships do you want? That's not to say I don't want a Galaxy Squad base one day. (Because I really do.)

@Kliq Wow, that is a mighty nice looking array of Galaxy Squad sets you've got there.

I'm not sure if this has been asked or not... Does the Warp Stinger have a flexible tail?

Yay, I finished a little while ago! I wasn't a big fan of the Insect's vehicles at first, but building them has brought me closer to them. The human vehicles are still my favorite, though. Wow, I just love them.

My job is not exciting. I mostly get yelled at all day by people who don't pay attention to their finances.

*Cries in the corner*

I'm currently in another country, and they don't seem to be getting GS here. Should've got some before I left.

Poor Billy! :cry_sad:

The finished sets look great all together kliq.

Woo hoo, my Lego order was on my front step when I got home from work. Let the building (and battles) begin!

Btw, I already can't wait to add the next GS wave to my forces.

You do realize, when they say Lego is a "building and construction toy" You are supposed to open the boxes and build with what you find inside? Not simply use the boxes as foundation to build yourself a little Castle?

Wow, seriously? I guess that makes sense. Otherwise I was like, "Uh, these 'bricks' are a little expensive. Each one is between $10 and $80."

Great job with these sets TLG. Hopefully they'll be available here soon & I can pick some up for myself. Thanks Kliq, I didn't realise how big the alien's craft were nor how good they look together. Downside? Seems the red squad sympathisers are right on the money... It's like red futuron all over again (except at least they had a base with 2 minifigs).

So Apparently there are two polybags 30231 & 30230 coming soon - does this forum also update the first post everytime they add a set?

Personally I was hoping that when I first heard about this that lego would make a larger set - I don't know $30 or so with one big mother bug - and a minifigure or three - and then have lots and lots of little swarm bugs - something like the 6954 Renegade from Blacktron (It had 2 side craft, a rover, a detachable ship, storage, radar, 2x boaster detachables) a flying carrier ship

I love the Little Drones from 30231 they are awesome

I was thinking that lego could have used this lots of little bugs approach to help sell the line

Imagine a set that has a swarm of little cool smaller bugs attacking the androids etc

Each bug doesn't have to be big preferably small with at least two of each small bug and a medium size bug, and a bug vehicle too.

Hmph. Still waiting for three of my Billies to arrive. Stoopid postal service. :hmpf_bad:

I'm getting nearer to finalising a ship for Billy though. Been doodling away like crazy and rooting out all my suitable spaceship-y parts. Got an order of a few bits coming in including a trans clear cockpit canopy which I'm very surprised to find I didn't own any of. besides the honking great eliptical dome from the Agents bad guy mech. I like it but it isn't sleek enough. Billy's ship should fly like a dart. Make Solomon Blaze look like a Sunday driver in his old banger. Once I've got something to show that's worth showing I'll start a thread so you can heap praise on me  Until then I'll say no more about this.

Normal thread activity resumes......... now.

We do if someone points it out to people :look:

(and updated!)

Anyone with good Photoshop skills or what have you, make a GS Red Squad Relief Fund banner for signatures. We need to really spread the word!

Weird. The Summer Galaxy Squad pictures have disappeared from the flickr fotostream. Did anyone save them?

I did - just not on this computer. I can upload it to my Imgur and repost - the policy is you are allowed to use a textlink but not show the actual picture on the forums, correct?

My friend says he got an email from LEGO, and it said Galaxy Squad sets aren't going to be out for Australians until September.

Sorry, Australians!

Well, Billy got some recognition. In the new catalogue, in the front where it says which sets are on which pages, they have ol' Billy standing in for GS! Silver lining people. Silver lining. It's like he's the spokesmen for GS.
